  1. thank you, will do. ---------- Post added 24-08-2014 at 07:01 ---------- It is a screw one and the screw has snapped. ---------- Post added 24-08-2014 at 11:57 ---------- Went to bullseye and it was closed, it looks like its the white cap that goes over the screw is missing so the number plate has been superglued on, hopefully it will be ok for now.
  2. I have no idea, i have just been told about it, i will take a look in the morning.
  3. I have just been informed that the number plate on the front of my car is hanging down one side and i have no idea what to do with it, i need to go out in the morning too so can i still drive it, is there anywhere i can have it put it back on locally in s5.
  4. Sorry to bring this old post up but, we have just lost our mum and i am about to ring the Sheffield Star to place the announcement, it is still the case of having to have a rose at the top as i am already dreading the cost as its is quite a long obituary.
  5. I went past at 8.55am and it was open, then half an hour later i went past again to go to the post office and it was closed, so whatever happened did in that half hour. No idea what has gone off though.

  11. Thank you, i didnt know that it unscrewed, so i did it and i put the threaded adapter on and hey presto, i now have a hose pipe that works :)
  12. i have tried a new adaptor and the same thing happens. ---------- Post added 28-02-2014 at 07:40 ---------- yes the tap is the same as the pic in the link, and i will do as you suggest and give it a try, i am going to a garden centre tomorrow so i will pick up a hose clip, thank you. and yes you are right, the hozelock does have 2 parts to it.
  13. A few years ago i was in the food hall in M&S in town and i saw a man putting joints of meat inside his bomber jacket!
  14. I had an outside tap fitted last year and for some reason the hosepipe i bought (hozelock) does not fit properly and keeps falling off, so would it be possible to have the tap changed to one that fits my hose connector? I do not want to have to use a watering can again!
  15. I have had this about 30 years but it got much worse about 10 years ago after being under a lot of stress for a long time. I have only had a test for thyroid and that was fine, but i know its linked to other conditions. I have a repeat prescription from my gp for camouflage make up for my face and for factor 50 sun screen, but i dont like to use either but its a case of having too. I too have pale skin so apart from my face its not noticeable in winter. I have patches all over my body except for my neck and the bottom of my legs and i have a streak of pure white hair so i must have a patch on my head too. I also avoid the sun and i miss going on holiday abroad, last time i went was in 2009 and i looked such a mess i just cried. I quite recently found out that it can take the colour out of the eyes and that upset me just thinking about it! It has taken me years to be able to speak about this, so thank you for replying.
  16. I have never been told of any support groups in Sheffield, i would go to one if i could.
  17. yes it is, but i have not turned white though i wish sometimes i had, instead of having white patches all over my body, the face being the worst part.
