  1. You mean the useless one that walks round the isles looking like rentacop rather than around the entrance to the store stopping the undesirables actually coming in. A lady was mugged at the cash machine yesterday too they pushed her away from the machine when it dispensed her money and ran off
  2. You need to factor in the wait times tankersley has over a 10 year wait time I’m a ticket holder and I’d pay triple what I pay now
  3. If your desperate at weekends jolleyes and I think pets at home sell them but day old chick have very little nutrition in them compared to a rat pup of equal size. If your snake doesn’t seem to take anything other than chicks you can defrost the rat pup in the same bag and usually the scent transfer is enough to confuse them into taking the rat.
  4. Slow worms don't grow that big. I used to help out with rspca reptile call outs but haven't done it for a few years I'm not sure if they just call out third party's out now.
  5. You can do it yourself with some good strong side nail clippers just do it a little at a time and then take off sharp edges with a fine emery board
  6. That looks like a boa that's covered in mud and at this temp would be very cold and sluggish. I'd be surprised if it has eaten as it would struggle to digest any food let alone catch it. The snake will have gone down the hole for security and to feel safer.
  7. I bought a fish tank a couple of months ago and a friend gave m some fancy tailed guppys and we set up our little tank and was really happy watching them swim around and do what they do. Now they have bred and bred we were told that they would eat the fry and the numbers would keep down however these haven't and we have a fish explosion. So we need a second tank to separate the males and females all I need is a tank with a lid as I have the rest of the things I need. Obviously I would pay for the tank I don't expect it for free so please pm me if you have one knocking around and I will come and collect asap. ---------- Post added 21-01-2017 at 14:10 ---------- Also if you have your own tank and would want some guppies in part ex I've got loads.
  8. Is it a straight up and Down or does it have the curve at the top if that makes sense. I might not see replies on here but if you ok me I will get them it is for my elderly mother in law who needs a hip and 2 knees so she can get up and downstairs. Many thanks
  9. Looking for some help with locating some grab handles As we have my elderly mother in law coming for Christmas and she needs handles to get through the front door and up our stairs. The problem is ones I have seen are fairly expensive especially as they are only going to be in place for a maximum of 3 days. Any ideas welcome
  10. +1 for Witcher 3 Also you may wish to look at the dragon age series the back story is immense and so immersive you could take years to complete fully.
  11. There's a user on here called karlpetchip did both my dogs in home and was really good and cheap.
  12. Pet shop / supplies on cricket inn road best price around and they do white or brown and they also sell additives by weight you want too
  13. More than likely an infection. Reptiles don't always show illness in then same way warm blooded animals do but the fact that it stopped eating was a sign that it wasn't happy with something. There isn't much you can do now but if you decide to get another I would do a full strip of the viv and clean with a good disinfectant and allow it to dry well and air any fumes before you put another snake or lizard in
  14. Would get a shock at mine confronted by 3 German Shepherds and a staffy
  15. We switched from xbox to playstation on the release of the ps4 and haven't looked back. My stepson has the xbox one and I'm not overly impressed with it.
  16. Tons of good carp in the canal best keeping it simple baits like luncheon meat or cat food. Used to fish every Saturday night up until last year but I wouldn't do it alone.
  17. Yeah they are fine to use just change when they get too dirty or start breaking down
  18. Hi Ive been looking at keeping a crow and have been trying to find anyone who may breed them as I wouldnt want to just pluck one out of the wild as that would obviously not be very fair. Can anyone help
  19. Hi Peaches how are you I havent posted in quite a while but wanted to try and help. Its very true what they say about the water bowl and lettuce I tend to find mine likes dandelion leaf and flowers which have the added bonus of being free just wash really well before feeding and know that they havent been treated in anyway. mine also love rocket. As for decoration every dragon is individual mine never bothered with branches but love the huge slabs of slate to bask on but he has also got a beech hut in the other corner to sleep in however mines kept in a 6x2x2 vivarium. To be honest as long as they have food and a little stimulation its as much as making it nice to look at for you they will entertain themself.
  20. Really So you suggest that I do not keep my Tropical Brazilian red-foot tortoise that needs tropical temps and 80% humidity in a viv or was that just a wild inaccurate sweeping statement. You can keep tortoises in a viv however If you do I would recommend a well ventilated one.
  21. Factually incorrect! There are many species of tortoise that can be bought and sold legally by anybody. The ones you are referring too are Hermans which can still be bought and sold by anyone who has them registered with CITES and passes all paperwork to the new owner and then reports them as sold. I own a tortoise myself a Brazillian redfoot who is quite large but still young at about 12" long at the moment and still growing. I would suggest looking at horsefield tortoises for the easiest to keep and buy
  22. Reason for Rehome / Sale Time Scale – How Urgent? Sale Amount Location Age & Sex Breed/ Mix Approximate size now and full grown size Viv size needed Micro chipped/ Breeders paperwork Vaccinated & Wormed Any Current or Historical Health or Psychological Issues Temperament/Any handling issues Beginners reptile, moderate or experienced only Easy to feed Live/dead food herbivore/omnivore/carnivore/insectivore Good or Bad with Children Dislike of Men or Women Destructive Behaviour General information that you can share Due to a change in circumstance I'm having to rehome most of my snakes. I have a 6ft normal male boa lovely temperament never seen a hint of aggression. Would suit an intermediate keeper can come with a 3 FT viv for £25. I have a 6ft very chunky sold as female boa can have her off days but never bitten can come with a 3ft viv £15 as tatty. Finally I have a 7ft female 100% het albino burmese python lovely and tame will grow to a big girl and should only be kept by an experienced handler. I want £75 for her would accept less for a good home. If you have any questions at all feel free to pm me
  23. Yeah I generally pretend that I haven't heard them and I don't know where they get the notion she anything but a staffy apart from her long legs and size.
  24. Is this still available I have a freakishly large staffy and was looking for one of these.
