  1. sims is failing to load correctly on a few occasions and which company is what ? the one i work for or the one who wants to upgrade the switch, thanks
  2. The old switch is only 2 years old and was supplied by the same company wanting to sell us a new 1gb switch, the networked pcs will not be updated to run at 1gb anywhere in the near future so I think its a waste of money, i think the problem is with sims itself.
  3. I work at a school where we are running sims attendance module on all networked pcs. Each networked pc has a 100mbit card installed and we have been told that installing a new 1gb switch on our server (replacing the 100mb one) will improve the stability of the sims application. My opinion is if all our pcs can only run at 100mb how will buying a new 1gb switch improve speed.Am i right or wrong ?
  4. I lived in one of those and there are no supporting walls inside (even the outer brick walls are like paper) just rip out the stud work and hey presto ! Dont listen to any builders on here telling you you need structural surveys and building control approval as you've obviously done this before even if you dont know the difference between a supporting wall and a non-supporting. Give it a go you will only invalidate your home insurance policy if your house collapses:thumbsup:
  5. and the predominant cause of racism is being forced to accept multiculturalism by people like you........the people of the manor should be proud as they have the balls to stand up for themselves multiculturalism coming to an area like your soon....like i said YOU will reap what YOU sow.
  6. you reap what you sow and this just goes to show what you get for welcoming multiculturalism (oh dear does that make me islamophobic) bring in the BNP...up Enoch Powell watch this post go down quicker that abby titmusses knickers as it all you do gooders fault...i hope the country erupts into civil war:thumbsup:
  7. find out who owns at the land registry, then try to contact them, move into the house and live there for 10 years and it then LEGALLY becomes yours....sorted
  8. send us a pic and if your not a minger I will take you out:thumbsup:
  9. fortunately got my letter today and pay is staying exactly the same but the job i do fits into a lot higher profile so will be vehemently appealing .... we all need to stick together in this debacle, its simply a cost cutting exercise on the councils part no matter how they dress it up....i feel very sorry for anyone whos has lost out even by a penny and will be offering my full support after joining the union today..............one out all out !
  10. love johns he had loads a porn mags to look through and i was only 11
  11. sorry i have morals and scruples and couldn't sleep at night as my moral has always been 'A good days work for a good days pay'
  12. The QCA schemes of work have not changed for years and if your a good teacher then once youve done a years planning it stays the same (untill OFSTED come) when you have to do some real work You get the kids to mark each others homework and then TA's to do your other marking and prepare resources (as it one of the 10 DUTIES A TEACHER SHOULDN'T DO) then you **** and moan when its your playground duty.....need i go on ? and no you cant have a job at our school as someone has to die first cus they all secretly know what a cushy number they have !
  13. I went from the private sector to working at a school and no one in education would last a week in the real world....teachers teach for 22 hours a week and then get 10% non contact time (when they go home or shopping) to do their planning, at the first sniff of snow they all ring in saying its impossible to get to school (like today) and the school usually gets staffed by us mugs (non teaching staff) who get to work come hell or high water ! 30k a year for 22hrs a week the words money and old rope spring to mind ! flame on
  14. I live opposite Rother Valley so this is very close to home, deepest condolences go out to the family if this is true.
