  1. Does a boy wearing a dress give any indication to what they choose as a gender? I doubt it. I used to feel nauseous at the site of dresses when I was a young girl and now I love them. I wasn't confused, I just preferred trousers. I think if someone had started observing me in the thoughts I was 'the wrong gender then I would have been bloody confused. If a lad wants to wear a dress or play with a doll it's not really an issue I don't think, until the adults make it one. Like you say, let them be kids that explore.
  2. Does anyone know a former chef from the Grovesnor in the late 80's? He had a beige mini metro. Was a friend of a friend but I can't remember his name! Thanks. ---------- Post added 25-11-2017 at 16:11 ---------- Does any know of a man that used to work there in the late 80's with a beige mini metro? He was a chef.

  4. Try myshopify.com or I used one.com with prestashop which was a bit of a pain to upload but cheap as chips. There are plenty of cheap hosts which have shop templates. I am sure that you could do this without the help of a webdesigner as they can be really pricey, particularly for a start-up. Good luck.
  5. Hi, I am looking for a therapist who would be interested in sharing an office/therapy room. I am a hypnotherapist and NLP practitioner so anything that would compliment that would be ideal. We could both work on alternate or set days/times. Thanks.
  6. I have been to see a couple of therapists for my anxiety. The first was less than useless, proclaiming to me that he could 'cure me' in one session. That one session cost £90. Then I visited a lady who did help me a lot. I am now studying hypnotherapy myself in order to help others with problems like mine (on an accredited course and will be practicing in 2014 ). It is really not pleasant having anxiety, it used to stop me from doing so much but it has been improved no end. I think the key is to find someone that you are comfortable with. If you don't like the person or can't relax in their office/working environment then forget it and go to someone else. I think that hypnotherapists charge so much as they need your commitment. I know some of you will scoff at that but if you have a book full of clients at £20 a piece then some may not turn up for appointments, they may expect you to be a miracle cure and put no effort in themselves and it's just a complete waste of time. If you are charging £60, then the person has carefully considered taking this step and because of that financial investment is more likely to turn up and put the effort into helping you to help them. A good hypnotherapist will tailor the sessions to your specific needs rather than the general problems on a cd. I am not saying don't try them first as it is quite expensive getting treatment for a problem but a hypnotherapist will take your history and monitor you whilst in trance to make sure that you are under sufficiently to take suggestion/help and try everything that they can to combat your problem. They will usually give you a cd tailored to your needs and problem/s to practice in between sessions and you will need to do that as your input is as important as the therapists. Also, on the subject of cost, if it does work for you and you have had 4/5 sessions at £60, then is £240/£300 not a worthy investment in yourself, especially with something like smoking? I suffered for years with anxiety and if I had a million pound to improve it then believe me I would have paid it, but luckily I didn't need to.
  7. I know this is an old thread but I think Sedith is painting a somewhat unfair picture of Halfway. The council estate is not particularly rough at all, the green pipes do indeed vent methane gas but the houses near to Morrison's were built regardless so that is obviously not a danger. The area is pretty quiet and has good access to the motorway, public transport. As for the pub, I think Shameless is pure snobbery but I would prefer Mosborough.
  8. Oh yes, I loved that place. I used to go every Wednesday and Saturday to Loud Compulsion. Everyone was so friendly. I remember them playing Chaka Khan early doors and then tunes like Mr Kirk's Nightmare and Total Confusion. Fantastic!! I think I was in there Boxing Day night and New Year's Eve 1990. I remember it being pretty cheap until they put it on TV, Def 2 was it ? It went up overnight and filled with townies until they got bored Great times
  9. Do people have jumble sales these days or are they all carboots? I used to love a good rummage. Oh the days of the old flea market in the 70's lol I would be grateful if anyone could point me in the direction of any , thanks.
  10. Any parties in secret locations this weekend folks? Please message me cos I am gagging ))) Thanks x
  11. Hey all, I am going to try and get up to the allotments sometime soon to see is any work has been done to clear the site. Last time I went up was February and there was still a bunch of mattresses (which had obviously come from an old peoples home and probably been died on) that I had reported in September. The asbestos was still there BUT they had put a new set of steel gates on BUT after spending what must be a good few hundred quid on them, they don't close. They are quite heavy and the posts have set wrong in the concrete it seems. Nice gates though if only they would keep out the flytippers which they would do if they closed. The council must know that they don't close as they have sent me no letter to go and purchase a key which I suppose they would do to all the allotment tenents. I have still not planted in mine and still wondering whether to let it go as they are disgusting. Like I said, I shall check them out. I might even take some video and send it to the local MP. Bye for now
  12. i know they've put a gate on but unfortunately they didn't close properly last time i went!! Thank goodness they are clearing them though! As for the rats, i went up to mine a couple of weeks ago (no' 7) and one just trotted by like it hadn't a care massive it was too! I was clearing mine but everytime i put a gate or lock on, the next day it was broken into- 3 times once in a week. I really hope the 'gate' stops these thugs and they do something with them And, i also hope that the person/s responsible for breaking into them isn't a fellow allotment holder!
  13. Hi, Does anyone know anything about Balmoral nursing home S13 please. I am trying to help a friend locate a good nursing home for a member of their family. Any help appreciated.
  14. Love that greenhouse!!! I am afraid to put anything on my allotment as I have only had it a week and some saddo has nicked my padlock and chain and broke in the gate!!
