Hi guys, sorry not been on for a while and see their are a few people asking about wednesdays. Apologises to the person that texted me the other week as I never got back to you! Still have the odd space although are doing better now so will send a few pms.

we do mate yeah! its at 7.45pm kick off, One of the lads from last week hasn't got back to me yet so I will PM you my number and you can text me yours, if he hasn't got in touch by 12pm the place is yours if you want it!

Would still be interested to hear from anyone wanting to play regularly at goals on wednesdays. Had a couple of the regulars leave the area and it isn't ideal having a different set of players every week!

I would say its a good price, £5 per person for a squad of 12. We pay 6 quid a man at Goals if you have 7 players!

Sheffield Bankers are after a friendly this Saturday morning due to cancellation. We can get a pitch for kick off times between 11am-2pm (Astro @ the Sheff Accad I believe although I will confirm that) however it will be 60 quid per team so if you have a ground/pitch cheaper we will be up for that as our usually pitch is booked as we were supposed to be else where. It will be a combination of players from our 3 teams which play in the county snr, South Yorkshire Amateur and Over 35's leagues. anyone interested pm me for my number.

It was a utd select charity 11 though that featured David Ginola amongst other retired players and some French pop star, there was a handful of genuine utd players however most of the damage was done in the 2nd half when OM had virtually a full strength team out after they had made a string of substitutes. was an entertaining game mind. In no way does it compare to having a development side lose 14-0 in what to them was a serious match to prove themselves.

Might be after the odd player or two for the coming weeks to cover a few players being away etc although their may be perminant space for those reliable enough. We play on Wednesdays at goals (the team this thread was set up for in fact!) in the championship and may have a space this wednesday if anyone is interested, although wednesday is only a friendly so no pressure.

I prefer to play the sheff council courses as I usually buy the bulk discount round card but would be willing to give rothervalley a try as I have never played there. I am actually looking to play tomorrow so if your free and want a round pm me your number, I signed up to beaucheifs members thingy last year in an attempt to find people to play with but it hasn't worked so far so the pro out their told me to just turn up and he will try and get some members to play with me so I can get my score cards submitted for a handicap!

where you looking to play? I am off work for the summer hols at the minute but am struggling to find people to play with during the day so may be up for the odd game.

still looking for a reliable keeper for a Competitive (but friendly) wednesday 5 a side team at goals, always stay for a beer after the game too. we play in the championship which is fairly decent but would be willing to give anyone interested a shot.

Just signed up for the 3k run. I am doing what will be my first ever 10k the following week at Rother valley for Testicular cancer however I live close by to Graves park so thought I would use this as my training run and to show my support. anyone know the actual route for the 3k and 10k through the park?

Hi guys, we are struggling to find a goal keeper for a game this evening at goals (8.30pm kick off) Both the first choice and back up keepers are out injured. If anyone is available and wants to play in net for us please give me a shout.

See a few people mentioning friendlies etc. If anyone is ever short on a goal keeper I would be interested in playing if free. Only started playing back in nets mid way through the season and have been a bit ropey at time so could use the practise!

tomorrow (wednesday 23) is our first match! @ 7.45pm we only signed up sunday and we are playing our grading match tomorrow which is to see what standard we are and where we should end up. Bit of a ramshackle team at the moment although I have a few others that can make it in the future but were caught out by the short notice. If you are interested your more than welcome to come tomorrow and play and then see if you want to join us every week or when you can. Will Pm you my number.

The cost per game for goals is 27.50per team. We are looking to get 6 (so one sub) so thats just over £4.50 per person as we don't want people stood about not getting a game etc. Do you play for New Boh then? I thought I recognised that name and its because their is an article of your team on the South Yorkshire Amateur for winning the cup but I notice your not in the league anymore as thats what I play in this year.

never played there no, Goals was the best location for us as we are coming from various places and Powerleague doesn't have a wednesday league.
