Anyone here ever played in this? run via this site :https://localtennisleagues.com/sheffield I put up here a while ago I was after a sport to replace footy (which I retired from this time last year) and thought this might be okay, really rusty and was never very good at tennis but my work used to run a league and used to enjoy it. Just wondered if anyone had ever played in this though, I live right next to Meersbrook park and rarely see anyone using the tennis net on there even though the court looks pretty decent.

Hi all, not been on in ages, after years of mainly playing football (I actually started the 5 a side thread that I notice is still pinned above!) I am looking to try something new. I had to quit footy due to my knees and because I recently became a dad, however it's pretty much just the contact of footy that bothers them, fine with running, cycling and started playing flag football and they were fine with that, although the season is ended now. And so am looking for any teams of any sport that would be happy to have me at training (potentially as a complete novice) or just people that play anything regularly or need the occasional player. I recently started teaching P.E and it's been close to 20 years since I've played some of the sports I now teach hence why I am happy to play anything. Kev -

Been a Wolves fan living in Sheffiled for 10 years now, and even though we are **** I was going to go to this today as try to get to as many of the games round here as possible and had already missed Rotherham away due to my Missus birthday, however I gave up going when I saw the cost of tickets. £33 for away fans at the 2nd tier of football is a complete and utter joke! I love Hillsborough as a ground, although the facilities for fans (even when I have been in the home end with mates for other matches) are extremely out of date and not especially modern (understandable obviously due to the age of the ground) the reason I mention it is I could potentially understand if they had spent a fortune on the ground or facilities. Really poor gate considering the size of the teams involved.

Would love to get involved in darts, is there anywhere around s8? Not very good and not allowed a board up at home due to renting. However used to play a lot as a kid. Probably wouldn't be good enough to part of a league for ages but would be up for some games if anyone plays around s8 area.

There is a place on our street that does this called Butterfly studios. Heard they are good. Missus used to go there for Zumba and speaks highly of the instructor.

Got this fitted from A1, very happy so far. Had a few issues with my car being non standard for fitting but they ordered and fitted a special bracket for me. Looks to have done a great job from what I can tell!

Cheers all will check them out, probably go A1 as Towsure don't seem to have a model for my particular car.

I am after a towbar fitting to my 12 plate Ibiza S, can anyone recommend any where in Sheffield that I could speak to that does this? I used to be a shop fitter and was encouraged to leave as manual work isn't my thing so ideally I need someone else to fit it! As when I asked elsewhere the suggestion was I could do it myself, however would rather know it was down properly. Especially as it's to put our bikes on.

No worries, yeah it's a shame. I have noticed that. Like I mentioned I don't cycle as much as I would like but even before I started I would never moan about those that did when I was driving about.
