On the 15th of this month they are starting to do some roads on jordanthorpe then on the 18th they start the rest so for around 5 days the whole of jordanthorpe is a no car zone between 7am to 7pm. How stupid is that where do they expect people to park.

I have been looking for a coach to take my mum who's 80 and my aunt who's 76 to mablethorpe from sheffield. But the only one I can find takes 9hr 5min. I was wondering if anyone has a better idea how to get them there. They used to go with a gent called Malcolm who had a mini bus but he has now passed away.

How silly are some people. If everybody thought the same and didn't want a job that would not pay huge hourly rate well all the shop's would close for two reasons no staff in the store and no staff on the farms or in the factories. Also most buildings would be dirty as no one would be cleaning them. Most people who work in these jobs myself included are proud to have a job.

Sedith may be you should go into a school now and have some food. When we go back to school after the holidays I will be cooking sausage and mash with broccoli and carrots the hot pudding is bakewell tart all cooked fresh on site. Tuesday I'll be cooking hunters chicken with baby sweetcorn and for hot pudding it's chocolate sponge and custard all made fresh on site.

They are taking the free lunch away because of tax reasons. But a lot of teachers still get a free lunch. Also any foods that cant be saved staff were allowed to take it but not anymore it has to go in the bin.

We work for the school. Do you get an allowance for food that you pay tax on or is it not just a perk.

I work in school kitchen and have for the last 13 years over all that time we have been allowed a free lunch. Well now we are being told we can no longer have one. So I'm wondering if there are any other dinner staff on here who get free meals. We have been told We are the only school that give free food.

So you can't take your kids out of school for a holiday but they can be sent home for a week because of a hair cut.

I would keep a very close eye on her. I think she could be heading for a breakdown.
