Bloody nora this stirs up emotion doesn't it! I have been in London since June after cycling in Sheffield for 7 years (with zero lycra, never once hitting a pensioner and actually cycling WITH a pregnant lady) and I must say Sheffield needs to grow up a little. Great idea for the event, especially interesting that it is coinciding with a similar (but much larger) event in London backed by the Mayor of London and a major sponsor - londonfreewheel.com/ Sheffield is a great place to bike and the cycle lanes are much better than in London (which is improving). If some users think cyclists are rude, my god they should see what some drivers and bus drivers do! The fact is, you cannot tarnish all with one brush. Some cyclists are considerate some aren't. Some drivers are respectful, some are just c**ts

We have four female guinea pigs for sale. These wonderful ladies are in great health and are only being sold due to a relocation down to London Each layer of the hutch has a mummy (1 year old) and a daughter (8 months) in it. The girls come with a fantastic 2-storey hutch which is less than a year old and perfect for outdoor use. The two seperate compartments are roomy and each have seperate bedroom areas. We are also including 4 ceramic feeding bowls, two water bottles and two bed boxes (although there are seperate bedrooms, the girls sometimes like to have their own space). The trays under each compartment are removable for easy cleaning. However, as piggies can get their feet caught down the mesh, I first put a layer of cardboard which can be left for a few months if the rest of the hutch is kept clean! Great for recycling and the waste can be used for composting! We are open to offers for this but please note, we need to be gone by the 1st June so we would appreciate a quick response! Has anyone noticed the green, pink and black boards appearing all over the Moor, in readiness for the super-renovation of the area? I am not sure they don't make things look a lot worse than they did before!! These ones - follow this link

Driving near Blackstock Rd today, went to take pics of the crazy concrete church....came across this burnt out car outside: Image link here I spoke to a guy who was there for Sunday church who reckoned that it was the pastors car and that his African churchgoing community and the church itself were under constant attack at the moment. I may have missed a thread about this, but does anyone know more about this?

at owler, just past Totley, 3 cars got stranded at the pub I was at - including us! See here for a pic!

I think its just bad weather, no sign yet that this is an eg of global warming. Leaving your car is a good idea either way!
