  1. This is why we were reluctant to order from them before this school year. The two years previous they were horrendous at fulfilling orders on time and also organising the dispatch/collection!
  2. Oooh I was going to try this place but was unsure at the time. I may have to sample with my friend who lives nearby
  3. Does anyone have the number jotted down by any chance without me having to wait to drive past. I would like to book!
  4. I think he means the lady knew she had done it and then carried on with her shopping, possibly moving her car!
  5. She is at fault...no argument. Send a pic of the layout and she is screwed ---------- Post added 09-01-2018 at 21:19 ---------- I did have a work colleague who applied that theory to crossing the road. She just walked out on zebras as if they were pavements. It really irritated me!
  6. You could always cut to size a single board if it is just one that has started to go soft then do the lot when it is time to do a new bathroom.
  7. My daughter got one from her Auntie for her birthday last Sunday. I didn't even know it was a 'must have' toy. I had never heard of them before.
  8. We used to do that in the toilet cubicles at school
  9. They couldn't trace it to anyone though could they?
  10. If you have cut the logo out, how would anyone at the local dump know it was business related clothing?
  11. I keep distancing myself from the news lately but there was some MP on tv earlier saying oh he was young blah blah blah but I have read the previous posts now and can see that he probably hasn't changed, just got caught!
  12. Just a person who needs chastising for what he has done! Whatever was said/done 14 years ago, well lots of people are getting outed for what they have done so he should face the consequences too. However I do feel a little uncomfortable with someone trawling online to see what he wrote as a youngster (yes I know adult but still) although it is a good example for young people to see that what they share online can come back to bite you on the a*s.
  13. Probably the Halfway one is the best suggestion so far but it would be a long drive followed by a long tram ride.
  14. Frog walk can be a little isolated to walk alone, especially with the evenings drawing in
  15. A lot of hospital staff park round there so you will be struggling to find a space. The train is quick from Woodhouse but the walk down to the station is further than you think so you may find yourself rushing in the morning. I just managed to get to work for 9 at the Hallamshire when I caught the train. Is there anywhere round Sharrow where you could park and then maybe walk the rest of the way heading towards Brocco Bank?
  16. Our after school club started at £6.50 and then went up gradually over time to around £9. We haven't used it ourselves but its from 3pm-ish to 6pm so still quite reasonable for the hours of care. They send an email out with the week's theme, they generally have a bit of a structure each day, something crafty, in nicer weather they play outdoors too. They get a light tea as well, probably something on toast or cheese and crackers etc. What you describe is a little like the breakfast club in our junior school where they play on the computers and then get some breakfast. This is free but they ask that you send them with some money for breakfast. My son gets toast and chocolate milk for £1 and is there for about 45 minutes. ---------- Post added 22-10-2017 at 13:47 ---------- Childminders are looking at around £4 per hour but I suspect that after school places will be filled quite quickly.
  17. A healthy interest in the human body and its good to encourage it!
  18. They probably want to hear the heart filling up and emptying! Hope you find one that does the trick that doesn't break the bank!
  19. I worked at Coop cafe about 16 years ago and had to use the back entrance from King Street. It stunk of urine then and probably for years before then so its not a new thing!
  20. Ttttttttttrrrrrrrrrrrroooooooooolllllllll! That is nonsense but felt good. Troll.
  21. Vehicles do look bad these days but the passenger part looks pretty intact so I wouldn't imagine any deaths. They are made to fold to lessen the impact
  22. As the mother of three small kids I can tell you that they certainly can make their own entertainment! However kids that are seen alone playing in woods, abandoned buildings etc are branded as 'feral'. Do you actually know any children?
  23. I walked home from school......used the money to buy cigarettes instead!
  24. If its green stain and the grey is a fence paint (thicker) I reckon it would cover. Wouldn't grey be a bit drab though - everyone seems to like grey lately indoors. Colour in the garden would be nicer
