  1. Hey all, I am looking for some help with Java Script... is anyone able to lend a hand? I can post the details if someone can help... posting this from my phone and it is not the easiest thing to do!!! Thanks in advance :-) Sedge
  2. Well there are already two on the road... The Huntsman and Lloyds... Good thinking though!
  3. Ooooh.... Looks like something might be opening again! Yay!
  4. I have found this... http://www.sheffield.gov.uk/business-economy/licensing/general-licensing/alcohol/licensing-act-2003/premises-licences But there does not seem to be a way to check like with planning applications :-( Sedge.
  5. Hey all, Just wondering if anyone can fulfill my curiosity to what is going on at the above pub. I have been past a few times in the last few days, and there are people working inside the building. The windows are still boarded up so I can't see what is going on but there is noise (electric saws etc) coming from inside. I'm not sure what is going on - as surely Seven Stone is starting at some point - could this be salvage work or is someone opening it back up as a business? Any ideas people? Sedge.
  6. When the houses where renovated some 22 years ago the name was changed - for what reason I don’t know. The road which now encircles the houses is called Moorside and has been assigned the post code S10 4 Lima November (to avoid the address trawled etc etc). Sedge ***EDIT*** And since Google launched the Streetview service in the UK, Moorside is partly visible. When the service started there was the whole east section of road visible, now this has been cut down the the south east coner only - I assume this is a radius taken from the city centre out and the rest has just been cut.
  7. I understand it is 7 days unless otherwise stated at the time of ordering. This will apply, but the company has failed to provide what was stated in your contract. If you used a credit card you can make a "Section 75" claim if you dont want to deal with the company who sold it - ONLY if you used a credit (no debit) card to buy the product. There is no reason you should not get product you ordered... http://www.oft.gov.uk/shared_oft/business_leaflets/general/oft698.pdf
  8. Just to confirm, Microsoft have altered the warrenty agreement at considerable cost to themselves to try and correct the Red Ring of Death error. One estimate I saw put the cost into te tens of milloins of US dollars (although now that is about 2p). For this error, and ONLY this error, you will have a 3 year warrenty from the date of purchase - all other parts are covered by the statutary warrenties. To send your console back you can phone the number Rich posted or arrange it throught the online Xbox support area. On a positive note - my brother sent his back for the second time and 2 good things happened. 1. They tested the DVD drive and decided it was close to breaking so replaced this free of charge during the main repair. 2. they informed him that should it happen again they would replace his box for a new one which should not be affected by this problem. It took 3 weeks to be fixed including the xmas break. When I have phoned up in the past to get boxes repaired they have tred to ask me to keep using it for a few days to see if it fixes itself - just say 'it did it last week a few times and now it wont work at all'. And as a bonus you get a 1 month Live Gold card to ensure you don't waste any of your own subscription! Hope you get it fixed soon.
  9. Hahahaha!! Some will have a service tag printed on the bottom with a date... another one to get a rough idea is look at the date the first user folder was created - this only works if you have not formatted the drive. Hope that helps,
