  1. 2 weeks ago we had a stone lion stolen from our garden, last night the theives returned to take a second lion from our garden. my reason for posting this is to a) warn others that there are lion theives around and b) to see if anyone may know anything about this?

  2. If the weather is good then there is rother valley or ecclesall woods, you could get the bus to castleton and have a walk there is also the sheffield museum you could have a day at home and do some dressing up, plant some seeds so the kids could watch them grow and maybe even teach them some old games like hopscotch have fun

  3. Church of England will let you, if you either live in the parish, have lived in the parish at some point in your life for more than 6 months, or if you have a family connection eg being christened there, parents married there etc.

Your banns are read out 3 times a few weeks before the wedding, and they ask that you attend at least one of the readings if possible. Its rather easy to get married in church these days!

The above is not quite true the CoE do not have to let anyone get marreid there and there are some that will not let you! Also some do get booked up years in advance, Ecclesall CoE and Ranmoor for example.

  4. Have you already booked the church?

If not are you a member of a church, many religious bodies will not marry you unless you are a regular attender so you will need to check this out first. Also prices vary dramatically.

    Good luck with it all!

  5. Also please ensure your dog is well behaved and can be kept under control at all times. Oh and that it does not attack other dogs. Is your dog used to being let off a lead and socialised?

What area are you in, and how far are you prepared to travel, how long do you want to be out with your dog? there are so many places to choose from so giving the above information may help narrow it down a bit.

    :)

  6. So come on then lets have some early bets on:-

Who will get the first pole of the season

Who will be first past the flag this season

And who will win the championship?

Button or Shuey for me, would love Shuey to get another title under his belt!

  7. :banana::clap::headbang::headbang:

Close practice sessions and the Red Bull seems slow but I doubt it really is.

Heavy fuel in their car I reckon and they will pull the usual rabbit out of a hat in qualifying.

Hope not, I hope that they are just SLOW this year! Hard to judge given the weather conditions not to mention the mind games that will be being played. I cannot wait to watch the qualifying tomorrow!!!!! :headbang::headbang::headbang:

  8. The sheffield code is 0114, not 01142 it was changed a number of years ago to make sure Sheffield did not run out of phone numbers. The Sheffield NHS was one of the first big organisations to start using the new 3 prefix rather than the 2 which has confused an awful lot of people.

So to answer your question you can call the 0114 305**** number at your usual rate whether that be off a mobile or any other type of telephone line.

    Hope this helps.

  9.

That is great thank you for the link, here is what it says:- An interruption to electricity supplies affecting S12 4 was reported to us on Tuesday, 28 February 2012 at 09:11.

The interruption to your supply is due to a fault on the electricity network supplying your area..

We are currently allocating the job of restoring power to an engineer who will be shortly travelling to the area.

We expect to have restored power to you by Tuesday, 28 February 2012 at 11:00

Hopefully this will be right and we will all be back up and running by 11.00am.
