Wonderful film. It was on at the Showroom a while back (doc.fest maybe?), wish I had seen it on the big screen. The film has such a strange and beautiful atmosphere. I have it on DVD (and have the soundtrack). Also tracked down some Handsome Family as a result. Quite fancy seeking out some Johnny Dowd too.

Never been to Balti King... but according to the Sheffield Council 'scores on the doors' http://www.scoresonthedoors.org.uk/client-detail.php?client_id=13 Balti King scores 1 star (out of 5) for food hygiene and 'poor' compliance with hygiene... I think I'll give it a miss.

I've had it done twice. First time no problem. Second time the infected nerve was being a bit hard to find and it took the dentist ages to get the sucker out. I never want to go through that again!

Went to the Polish restaurant a year back on Abbeydale Road. Food was a bit poor (had a meat dish - most of the meat consisted of fat). Service was poor. Not been back since.

Or, like the other week, they started digging up a section of Abbeydale Road road at 9pm and into the early hours of the morning. Slightly annoying!
