  3. Yes I remember Scratch Mix! They did exsist! Greg Edwards was in this crew if I remember correctly! Think they night have been on the 'Calendar' t.v.footage? :-) think they were one of the younger crews around at this time.
  4. Well said bec265silver. Reading the comments made by phylis, I have been reminded why I stopped coming onto sheffield forum - there's always someone ready to jump in passing comments/and generally being rude and an arse and telling people what they should be doing - phylis obviously had no idea of your personal circumstances and dived in there offering contraception advice for god sake. Not everyone thinks the world owes them a living as bec265silver pointed out above, some people unfortunately need help when things in life dont always go to plan. I'm pleased to hear you've been offered a house bec265silver and many congrats on your forthcoming arrival! Hope it all works out ok for you and your family.
  5. Collette Finney's mum is a friend of my mum. Could possibly get you info on Collette and what she's up to if you pm me!

  10. I have to second what you have said posh girl - I was in the Hallamshire for surgery on Tuesday and home on Wednesday, and the staff there are absolutely lovely and nothing is too much trouble for them.
  11. No it's far from enough. STRING HIM UP! AND HER AS WELL - end of.
  12. Yes he's still around, chanting the football scores!
  13. I can remember my older brother dancing to all this stuff and me and mates copying him. That was the late 70's early 80's. Want to go back now!
  14. great video as well - that's just brought a few memories back!
  15. Nice one - I could do with a cheap day out! All this for £1 - what more could we ask?
  16. Ummmm, a good few more than a half dozen or so passengers favoring Stagecoach over First on the routes discussed above, that's pretty obvious watching the buses go past my living room window! So, SENSIBLE-BUS, what's your problem with stagecoach?
  17. Good question shefflad - I personally only really have the no.7 (run by First) on a Sunday (unless I want a 10 min hike to another bus stop where more buses stop) which is one per hour. 3 Sunday's on the trot I went for the no.7 before Christmas and it never showed up so I either ended up walking to the bottom of the estate for another bus (ok in summer but when there's ice all over not so good) or going back home and waiting until the next one is due. Which is the point I am trying to make - the no.7 (on the firshill estate) is totally unreliable and the 83 has proved to make such a difference to people.
  18. It may be a pathetic little service to you but to some of us that aren't lucky enough to own a car at present, it has been a very convenient form of getting around for the past couple of years with or without our 'bratmobile'. It's nothing to do with being too idle to fold the pram. It's a convenient service which happens to run frequent and to the places people want to go. (And yes it's cheaper so thats a bonus). And if the bay in which we park our PRAMS is only for wheelchairs, it should state so instead of stating that buggies should be folded if the space is required for a wheelchair user. Oh and 90 per cent of the drivers on Stagecoach are ok as well, they speak instead of grumbling and chucking your change at you, like A LOT of the First drivers. Who do you work for, First? Whats up? Stagecoach nicking First's customers and peeing you off? Anyway, whatever. At the end of the day, if this service is removed, we realise there's not a lot that we can do about it, but it will be missed.
  19. Not personally, but sure there has been stuff on here before about these machines at Morrisons Hillsborough. I know I stopped using them for a while due to this - looks like I'll be stopping again. Sorry to hear you were done nuffsaid and thanks for the warning.
