  1. spoke to him - he’s given some good advice and hopefully the Mr will be driving soon :-) in his own car (want him to pass, but don’t want him driving my ole little banger)
  2. can anybody recommend an automatic driving instructor that will go to S36 please? Need someone who will be assertive and preferably a male. It’s for my husband who doesn’t ever listen unless you make him, I know it’s a bit sexist but he gets along with blokes better than a woman (he may be a bit too hen pecked - ) last instructor he had they used to spend all the lesson talking about football. I’d take him in my car but I’d like to stay married a little bit longer -
  3. If your cat is vaccinated, why not keep him? he obviously came to you for a reason :-) I’ve got 6 cats and only ever had one from a kitten. Cats rule and you are obviously a good mommy. The longer you keep him the less likely the RSPCA and CPL are likely to take him in. They’re over full as it is x You could get in touch with CPL and ask them if they’d sponsor you to keep him - fingers crossed you could become a fosterer x Great to hear that they’re people like you about x
  4. Why don’t you look at apprenticeships as well? not saying you are going to get one, but it is another option. It is unbelievably hard for young people to get their feet on the career ladder - it also may not be a bad idea to consider doing a bit of volunteer work (not 7 days a week, 16 hours a day slave labour) in something you like for a day or two a week. This will give you current references and the valuable "in work" experience employers look for. It is also hard for 17 year olds because if employers take on a 18 −24 year old they qualify for the wage incentive scheme (they’re given money to keep you in sustainable employment). Persistence beats resistance. Get your suit on and good luck x
  5. OOOOO looking at Starfish now :-) thank you x I had my kitchen fitted by a cowboy and I’m still paying for it now - so definitely only going to go on recommendations
  6. Good evening SF. Wanting my bathroom done. It’s only very small and I’m on a budget (aren’t we all), want a plumber and tiler. Do you have any recommendations? Going to get a few quotes then hopefully I can have a proper shower again (you have to run round to get wet in the one I’ve got) thank yooooooo:D
  7. Scrap that last reply Growup. Thanks for the link….I may have spotted my frock :-) thank you x
  8. Had a look in JL - Was more wanting to go down the hire path?????
  9. I’m am the charity bargain shop queen - I’ll pay up to about £150 ish. Had a look in most shops. I work right near TK MAXX and walk through there every lunch. I can tell you every item of clothing on every rail (yep - I’m a saddo - :-)) I’ll have a look in that hire shop. I’ve got an idea in my head of what I want. Want a tight, floor length with either a split or fish tail - the hard bit is that I don’t want to be too booby.
  10. Have an event coming up and I need to look STUNNING!!! Spent the last week trawling through websites, shops, eBay etc…. The only ones I like are way out of my price range. Can anyone recommend anywhere???? please??????
  11. GOOD NEWS! Athena (as she’s been named) her bloods have all come back clear - tonight she’s going to spend the first time in however long in a home and probably the first time in a loving home :-)
  12. Katkin I was thinking how I could get my mental Siamese to accept her. My goodness she’s bootiful, even though she looked like she’s rolled in a cow pat she’s blooming gorgeous x cats rock x
  13. Spats she’s got a home :-) sooo happerty. Been to see the baby this morning - took her some treats and a toy. She was purring her head off. All the staff are giving her lots of fuss - she is only tiny and her fur is all matted but she looks content with a little full belly. There’s some good people out there :-) hopefully when her bloods come back she’ll be off to start a good life x
  14. YEY!!! THANK YOU SARAH x x x she’s got a home :-) thank you so much. I’m going to visit her before she goes (pocket full of treats) :-) I’m so happerty - made my day. THANK YOOOOOOOO
