my local shop has sold them to me and my friends before, even when we've been in our uniforms. -
Iraq - Time to sort the problem out once and for all
Gadgetgirl replied to Mini_Cooper's topic in General Discussions
I agree, pull out our troops, leave the americans to keep the fires burning as the locals now seem to be getting the idea if the recent days are anything to go by. -

http://www.kwik-fit.com/free-brake-check.asp there you go, Kwik-fit.
-
I'm sure some of the tyre places are doing free brake tests, they normally do in the winter....nice little earner for them perhaps?
-
seems the stuff is not 'off the shelf' either, takes quite a organised process to produce it, so really blows the 'accidental' infection suggestion out of the water. I see Putin's not commented on it
-
check the break fluid levels too, but it sounds like the discs are buggered. Worth getting one of those 'free' break checks just in case

His death has highlighted one fact, despite Capitalism the KGB have not gone away. Once he turned on his 'masters his days were numbered but at least their murky ways have increased public awareness.

A fat bloke who does 1 nights work a year....is he John Prescott in disguise? -
its probably not the case however, a few weeks in the Northern whilst you're getting fixed up over Xmas might just save the poor bloke's life if the weather is really poor.

nice warm bed then for the chap eh

Severe weather warning for Saturday
Gadgetgirl replied to Greybeard's topic in Sheffield News & Discussions
Hey Greybeard, as the board's resident weather expert why is it that the wind is stronger at night than during the day? It occured to me before but checking Doncaster's data on the forecast confirmed it? -
I'm a celebrity get me out of here - Evictions!
Gadgetgirl replied to kittencapes's topic in Entertainment Chat
it seems to be a big con, first you vote for who you want to evict and then for who you want to save? Does anyone actually vote? I think some people are pretty gullible / don't pay for their phones if they do. -
The keeper's an Iraqi, he'll go down reet well with the 'burbs' on the North Stand....

You could be really radical and serve up a 'Bernard Matthews Turkey roast' - I'm convinced they've never seen an animal But seriously, the Nut Roast and the extra's sounds the deal

Did you ever live in Parson Cross?
Gadgetgirl replied to sandy's topic in Sheffield History & Expats
Eric, I don't think the cadet hut is still there. My dad went there in about 79-81 , he said it was a real laugh although the locals were a bit of a pain. There was a bunch of them and just about all of them ended up as 'regulars' so as a recruiting tool it was pretty effective. As a cadet he ended up getting all 4 Star awards and reached the rank of corporal (would have been higher but he kept getting busted for fooling about). -
Standby for Fare changes on First SY buses
Gadgetgirl replied to silverknight's topic in Sheffield News & Discussions
Erm no, I never catch First buses. Its Stagecoach and the Tram for me....I'd rather wait than give First my money -
It seems to me that Britain no longer has its own laws and dictats, they all are overridden by Europe who I don't always feel have our best interests at heart and see Britain as an ideal dumping ground for the stuff the rest of europe don't want.
-
A bit of advice for Satan, give your child paper money to play with, its a bit harder to swallow but will break down ok. Glad she's ok however taking her to the hospital pronto was the only sensible option as I'm sure the hospital told you.
-
In that case then Britain is no longer a tolerant nation then. Tolerance to me is the first stage of apathy and then domination, so perhaps we need less tolerance and more standing up for our rights against the powers that be, be it Europe 'with their dumping effect' or the US with their 'kill everything that moves' ideology
