ive been playing in the barnsley league with a group of mates but nobody seems to be bothered this year. 16 for first training 4 weeks ago and now 4 on sunday so its fair to say we're not gonna have a team. played a few years i'll admit i'm probably not a top division keeper but i'm better than the bottom leagues, (got my share of MOTM's) not to say i wouldnt play in the bottom league. i live near chapeltown so a team over this side of sheff ,barnsley or rotherham would be great.

what division are you in

I've been thinking of trying my hand at junior football management. My dad was a manager for years and then a sheff wed scout and I took my step son for years and also helped coach his team. I was wondering if anyone could let me know the ins and out of going into junior football and if anyone is requiring a manager

apart from the a*se with the dictionary stuffed somewhere intermate i've taken most on board. i was promised alot when i started at that company and was asked to break the law on a few occasions which i reported on every occasion but came to nothing. the asbestos in general is a rather large amount not something that will fit in a carrier bag. it filled the bottom half of a very large skip which is why i am concerned. i have never chased a claim for anything nor have i ever had a claim against me which is why i put a general question for ADVICE not smart remarks i was lied to from day one at that company and have tried to get the manager in question held accountable for his actions but he seems to have help higher up the tree

i've been treat really badly by my previous employer but nothing that i can make a valid complaint about really. when i was interviewed for the job i was offered alot of things and i was told it would all be sorted after my 3 month trial period so i went along with it. when my 3 month trial period was up i was told i was never promised anything and that it was just a "see what he could do" thing after a successful trail period. but this isnt what i need the help with. while working there at the side of the garage i was working in there was alot of general waste which they wanted clearing. so they hired a skip and i was told to move it all. i moved ever bit of it and the skip was taken. the next morning i the skip man turned up and dropped part of the rubbish i had cleared. the boss said you didnt throw that in the skip did you. i said yes you told me it had to be clear. to which he replied "oh i didnt mean that. thats asbestos" my question is. would i be able to have anything done about this (claim) as i know that its still there now and i have a witness to say i was told to do so. i've not rung one of these no win no fee places 1 because they are all personal injury claimers and 2 i dont know if i've been injured can anyone shed some light on this for me

I know it's not in Sheffield but me and a mate went fishing near Rutland water at a smallish pond. We were camping in a campsite in the next field and to beat the crowds we got set up at 4am. It was spotlessly clear for about an hour and a thick fog dropped. After another 30 mins or so we heard a big splashing sound on the other bank. Then again further round. I was a bit spooked and grabbed my stuff and went back to my tent. We went back when the fog had cleared and there had been 2 Canadian geese killed on the other bank. A few months later there was an artical in one of the fishing mags about large fish being found on the banks of Rutland water half eaten or ripped to bits and also a few sightings of big cats. I for one believe they are about. Where you saw that black cat are a lot of space and fields all the way to stocksbridge and glossop so it wouldn't surprise me

I'm looking for either an 5-a-side or 7-a-side team to play mid week with. been playing sundays since the beginning of the season but cant make the weekends anymore due to family stuff. i'm a goalkeeper and have been since i was a kid so anyone that can help let me know

I've been trying to rehome my African cichlids for a month or too now and I think the best way would be to take them to an aquarium and get trade for them. They will get rehomed quicker that way. Just wondering if anyone knows of any shops that give trade for fish. I know fish inc used to but there not going anymore. Are there any more

GK still looking for adult team Been playing in net since i was 7 or 8, but I've had 4 years off to help my step son with his football. Still play the odd friendly and charity game but want to get back into regular football. I played for a few pub teams before I stopped and I've kept my hand in by doing GK training for kids. I been asked to join a couple of clubs in the last few years but my step son was still playing. I live near Thorpe Hesley so close to the likes of chapeltown and just off the motorway and would prefer a local team but I don't mind traveling a little. Let me know if you can help

i'm looking to get back into playing regular football. i'm a very experienced keeper and still play occasionally. but i've put my sons football first for the last 3 years or so i need to get my fitness back up. i live around the kimberworth and thorpe hesley area so would prefer a club fairly local but i dont mind traveling.

Can anyone help. My stepson is wanting to start playing for a team. He needs an under 14's team as he is 13 this month. He's right footed but can use his left. He prefers to be in an attacking position like up front of on the wings. Looking for a team in the Rotherham area or north Sheffield ( Chapeltown, wincobank and surrounding. If anyone can help then please let me know.
