Not a bad topic heading. makes you wonder when it all changed

i've noticed that whenever you put any comments or questions on here its very rare anyone actually comments which is suprising when you see that over 100 people or so have viewed it. what happened to how fishing used to be when every fisherman would talk to every other fisherman. its a shame really because everyone would be a little more in the know and a bit more friendly. maybe even strike up a bit of banter or or even help each other out with tips or advice wheres the fishing family gone

Just wondered how many PS4 gamers arent going with the usual games like black ops 3 and fifa and are on something different more often. i'm on minecraft, advanced warfare, dying light or sometimes gta 5 online.

very nice pole and also not as good a seller as it should be. we can order them in but everyone goes for the maps. the m50 is just as good without having that air of "everyones got one" hope its what your looking for

I'm into dying light. the game is equally as good either way. i do like a bit of multi-player action but now into the same games as the lads

when i first started fishing it was as a course angler going with my uncle (who taught me how to fish) to the likes of ulley res, harlesthorpe, aston ponds and others and he also started me into match fishing which i took to like a shot winning a series tornament at his local over 7 matches. gradually my uncle stopped fishing as much due to health issues so started fishing with a mate of mine who was a carp fisherman. i gradually went over to carping from the match fishing and have been for about 7 years or so. but now i've lost touch with the mate i used to fish with and due to a mishap that has resulted in my carping gear being smashed im now wondering whether to go back to the carp fishing and getting new rods or going back to match/course fishing and getting back into the match side of things. anyone got any ideas i'm also doing a bit of drop shotting and piking at the minute.

i work at a large tackle chain and although the mavers arent usually as good as the preston or the map they are catching up. we get sell out of the elite carp 3's as soon as they come in but we do have alot more demand for the map poles. all depends what your wanting to spend on a pole. i do personally think the map are in the lead in the pole market at the minute

i've started doing a bit of dropshotting and piking. good for a walk about and a chat

I'm looking for a fishing partner as my mates and myself work different hours. Age and sex not important as it's about the fishing. Not bothered what fishing you do as I do all of them lol. I work at a huge tackle shop so I know what I'm doing so I don't mind giving advice out but I can always learn a few things myself as every day is a school day lol. Been playing in the barnsley league. Moved to a Rotherham team at the start of the season but due to a lot of family problems had to leave. Looking to play regularly. I'm told I'm a quite high standard keeper but I'll play in any league. Would prefer Rotherham though but not essential

I've been playing for years spent last 2 years with Hoyland common falcons but I've been playing well below my level just because I get on with all the lads. Just coming off an injury and my previous team has brought a keeper in because they didn't know how long I'd be out for So looking for a new team. If your into getting goalkeeper coaches in I'm not bothered. Just after a regular game and training nothing over the top Let me know

we are the adult team for hoyland common falcons and we have a pretty good team for this year but we are missing a good quality defender to sure up the back 4. as we have changed alot in the preseason we have been put in the bottom division of the barnsley sunday league but we have been holding our own against higher league teams. if your interested please let me know
