  1. I just told the nurseries I viewed that that is how my daughter eats. I think it's less important that they already know about baby led weaning and more about the fact they are willing to learn and respect the way you wish to bring up your child. You need to be confident in your choice. You'll also find that the difference between what your son eats at 7.5 months and what he'll eat at 10 months will be huge. They just suddenly seem to get it somehow
  2. Babycentre have online classes, not sure what they are like http://www.babycentre.co.uk/about/online-antenatal-classes/
  3. I'm having problems in s12 the past day or two
  4. I had that consultant, comes across offhand but I have to say when it looked like there might be a problem (turned out everything was fine) he was actually brilliant and I felt very well looked after.
  5. Yes but I'm saying my employer offers 12 weeks at 90% not the standard 6!
  6. What time does marsh lane tend to mostly be finished?
  7. Would you consider a reusable cloth nappy? We use them on my 7 month old and they last us over 12 hours with no leaks. Or you could just use a waterproof wrap over your disposable I guess so if it did leak it wouldn't escape that. Something like this http://www.babybots.co.uk/motherease_rikki_wrap.htm
  8. Birley children's centre run them for free, I think she said 6 or 8 weeks as starting age and I think she starts a new set in march
  9. Our annual fun dog show is back once again in Elmton this year (field across from Elm Tree pub S80 4LS). Entries from 1pm, judging starts at 2pm. Classes are £1 each. Waggiest tail Best veteran over 10 years Most handsome dog Prettiest bitch Best six legs Best puppy (5-12 months) Best rescued crossbreed Best rescued pedigree Best fancy dress (dog, owner or both) Most appealing eyes There is also a pet photo competition, just bring your photo on the day – 50p per entry. There will be a cake stall, plant stall and tombola amongst others. There will also be food and drinks and various other animal rescues will be there.
  10. Oh I'm sorry, your post overlapped mine. It's hard to lose rats
  11. Could be hormones, is it one particular rat doing the fighting? Rats do squabble and it can sound pretty awful but mostly they will sort it out amongst themselves, splitting them up can just prolong the fighting. If your oldie is starting to slow down they will be trying to figure out the new pecking order. Could also be hormones though, have either of the youngsters starting generally acting a bit differently? Are they still friendly with you?
