  1. Snake Pass is definitely closed. I've just got back from a walk up Bleaklow and there's a couple of inches settled up there. There were 3 cars gone off the road on the way back in to Ashopton.
  2. Glad to hear it You could try ferretone or ferretvite on his biscuits. Not sure if ferretone is available in the UK as I've never seen it in the shops but I always get mine from Ebay. Absolute god send at claw clipping time too! 3-4 drops on the belly and no nasty nips or scratches! Never tried mine on fish but it is high in protein and "good" fat so if he eats it and looks well on it then why not, though I think I'll stick with my "free" rabbit and pigeon 'cos I don't like fishing!
  3. Fox, I had absolutely no idea how much work you and your collegues had put in to improving your community and how much it has improved, impressed isn't the word! Well done
  4. A ferret has an extremely fast metabolism (around 4 hours) and being carnivores require a high protein diet, if your stinker is not eating then he is seriously ill. If the "Green Thing's" are in his toilet area then it will be faeces and will be green because he is only eating raisins, you really need to get some protein inside him. Pet mince is a good suggestion but feed it raw as cooking breaks down the proteins. You could also try him on a good quality kitten biscuit (over 30% protein) if he doesn't like his James Welbeloved (mine don't like it either) or there are plenty of generic brands about. Good luck mate, I hope he pulls through.
  5. You're not wrong Akita, I think it's because of the extra council tax we pay, we are obviously affluant enough not to need buses.............. I saw 2 Police Officers on Manchester Road last month, I gave them my AtoZ 'cos they were obviously lost. And the sodding bins never get emptied
  6. As if life wasn't difficult enough already, some light fingered scrote had it away with my car last night, from the Deepcar area. I'm hoping someone needed a cheap ride home and has parked it relitivley undamaged on your road........ The vehicle in question is a Suzuki Vitara JLX Registration H627 FLK Green in colour, with big tyres, home made steel bumpers and lifted suspension. If you know where it is please post or PM, I really can't afford to buy a new car and live in hope that it's still in one piece. Thanks Ash
