  2. Hi Just wondered if any Sheffielders are taking part in the mammoth 40 mile High Peak Challenge setting off from Buxton on Saturday Sept 16th. See http://www.highpeak40.co.uk Also the Hell Runner on Sunday 29th October in Delamere Forest, Cheshire. A 12 mile run from hell up hills through rivers and swamps. All in the name of fun! See http://www.hellrunner.co.uk Myself and two friends are taking part. If anyone is interested in getting in touch and training for these events please do.
  3. In my part of sheffield I have a black bin and that's it, and living in a flat and not having a car it's hard to recycle as much as I would like to. I completely agree. I think we all should be doing our bit to recycle and that includes the council. I do not drive and the nearest recycling facility to me is a good 45 minute walk, and with the amount of stuff to recycle it is a pain to have to carry it all that way. I think that all supermarkets should have recyling facilities. This would make it a lot easier as you could drop it off before you shopped. There could also be collection of glass and plastics as we currently only have the blue paper bin. It is annoying that the two biggest supermarkets closest to me do not have recycling facilities. 4. Hey welcome to Sheffield You should check out BRBs on West St and let us mere mortals know how it compares to the pizzas back home. Never been to Italy but would love to go, especially for the pizzas. I have to say my favourite BRB pizza is probably the Chili Chicken which is not very Italian but it is very good. Ciao Bella
  5. You should visit the Botanical Gardens off Ecclesall Road, one of my favourite places on earth. The Peak Distict is also well worth a visit depending on how much time you have. It's a 1 hour bus ride from Sheffield. The Green Room is a great place to go for live acoustic music and it's free.
  6. Hi I love The Gentlemen, having seen them perform all over Sheffield. The album launch at The Plug was amazing. Go see them live!! The album has some ace tracks and some ok tracks but definitely worth checking out. Just wondered though why every gig I go to is half full of 15 year old girls. Not good when you're on the pull
  7. Who agrees that the pizzas in BRB on West st are among the best in Sheffield? And with the 2 for 1 offer you get two pizzas for £7! Does anyone know any other places to eat great pizza in Sheffield? I've yet to find anything else truly exceptional.
