The EE guy told me that it is near Standish Avenue. S5.

The mast is used by EE, Vodafone and 3.

Does anyone know the exact location of this mast that was on fire?

Purse now returned to owner after South Yorkshire Police traced her.

I met her outside Norwood Post Office and reunited her with her purse. Well done to SYP.

I was in the chip shop earlier at Tesco and a girl came in said she had lost her purse. I'm not 100%. If you take it into the chip shop one of the girls will make sure she gets it ( assuming it's the same one!).

Obviously you might not feel comfortable doing this, but I can assure you if it is the same purse it'll get back to where it belongs.

too right, some pensioner could be in a right state not knowing if theyre gonna freeze or starve for the next week, as if times arent bad enough for many, losin your purse is the last thing anyone needs

I think I can safely say they are not a pensioner, the purse also contains bus tickets dated 17/01/13 and are marked Adult single Adlington rd bottom to Herries Road Tesco. They were paid for tickets.

Another ticket is marked as Rokeby Dr. so I think it's safe to assume the owner lives on Parson Cross.

Just ring up cancellations, tell them you want to cancel due to the price differential and await their offers. Very hard to get anywhere with the Indian call centers, they have no power.

I usually just ring up with an apologetic tone, "very sorry and all that but I can't justify paying £xxx when it's £xxx for new customers. I'm considering leaving and maybe coming back as a new customer after a while. Is there anything you can do to avoid that by matching the deal? It's OK, I don't want the new customer discount, just the normal price".

 

I find they're usually quite accommodating.

Ok thanks for the advise, will try that next time. The man tried to get me to take a phone and broadband package for the same price (£36.75) but I wasn't interested so I went with the reduction.

Get on the phone and start kicking off, 30Mb is now £22.50.

I'm not very good at kicking off, but I gave them a call and managed to get a reduction from £36.75 to £29.25 a month, but I'm still not happy.

Just have to see how it goes:(

My connection is back up to speed today. I just called VM (Indian call centre:rolleyes:) I managed to get a reduction from £36.75 a month to £29.25, still not happy but wouldn't reduce it any further, so VM are on probation. Will see how it goes.
