If you were about on the Roxy/Rebels/Wapentake/Yorkshireman’s scene of the late Eighties and early nineties you must remember Hanoi Jayne. The last time I saw her must have been around 1997 and the last reliable report I had of her was about a year later (someone told me they’d bumped into her in 2003 but considering who it was I’m inclined to be suspicious about it). Following a recent conversation with another of the old crowd I’m burning with curiosity to know what became of her – or if she’s still alive! Dom

I’m not sure if this is in the right forum or not – but I’m sure the moderators will move it if need be. I’m currently writing a series of semi-autobiographical pieces centred around the Sheffield, Lincoln and (to a lesser extent) Nottingham rock scene of the late 80s and early 90s – you may have come across them. The thing is just about complete (although the online version won't be up in it's entirety until after the Christmas/New Year period). I’m intending to record it as a kind of semi-narrated (by me), semi-acted (by others) radio play/series and I need people to voice the Sheffield characters (all aged between 18-25) and they need to speak in authentic South Yorkshire accents. Where might a good place be to find such people? Also if MR_BOBBAR is around would you mind me asking you half a dozen or so questions about the demise of the band?

Hello People, does anybody have pictures of the old peace gardens circa late 80's early 90's or the outside of the Limit club just before it closed? If so I'd be very grateful if they could provide me with scanned copies. Cheers, Dom
