  1. There use to be some cottages in front of the Davy United firm, they use to flood when the stream overflowed. I believe a Mr and Mrs Cox lived in one of them. I am going back into the early 1900s. The son Cyril married my aunt Ena Marsh.

  3. Hi. I am Pat...as old as my tongue and a little older than my teeth Sheffielder born and bred There are three of us in this household Ozzie 2and a half years old Golden Cocker I rehomed. He was very frightend of big men and little children. He is becomming more relaxed now. Answers to ods bods when my daughter call him. He can do twirls , run round and round my legs on command, run through a tunnel and jump through a hoop....when he is in the mood. I spend more time correcting my mistakes

  7. I am sorry I cannot pass the pictures on but I will tell you m the photos are of about six kittens, they are partly feral. The mother is probably a farm cat. The kittens are not frightened and are so cute, they are being fed by the people around where they were born. They will need homes quite soon now, they are soooo aaaaahhhh.

  14. So sorry bigben, you will never forget him, its very hard to think of him suffering, try to remember the good times only. P
  15. Ozzie,( golden cocker apparently still known to have bad temper tantrums) has worried me as he still occasionaly has these nasty moments, I use to point my finger at him and tell him how bad he was using a very loud and angry voice and his growling would turn to snarling. I am now using a more softer approach. I still hold his collar and tell him how much i love him in a very gentle voice andI keep talking to him this way untill his growls subside. He has not got to the snarling stage since i started this and he very quickly stops growling. He knows when the youngsters arrive he can go in his "DEN" but he preferes to sit under my chair and behaves very well. I do not know if this will help you in any way. I hope every thing turns out ok for you.
