  1. You could have signed that off "Alpaca my coat".
  2. Just coming to the end of Ian Rankin's "In a house of lies". I don't want to finish it as it's one of his better ones, in my opinion, but I'm desperate to get to the denouement. Should I read the end after a bottle of wine so I'll forget and be able to read it again?
  3. 20 years of therapy and now it's OK to wash my hands every 20 minutes.
  4. Or you could be proactive: Sheffield bin collection days
  5. From all the social media and forums around has anybody read anything from anyone who has bulk bought toilet rolls? If so, what reasons have they given?
  6. Well, that's likely to be long after the majority of us have shuffled off this mortal coil.
  7. The 4th one down is Wisewood Cemetary.

  9. Absolutely and, for the hard of Googling, here's the opening times: Household recycling centre opening times.
  10. There's an old thread on here from 2008: Port Mahon thread
  11. The Financial Times, for one, believe that it was good management of Britain's gold reserves: Britain was right to sell off its pile of gold

  13. Eat enough eggs and you won't need toilet paper.
  14. There's a website called BigFishGames and another called iWin both of which have downloadable free games. They only allow an hours play but they could give some fun.
  15. Are you implying that the independent organisation slipped a bribe to the independent electrical contractor to over-look any faulty wiring? That's a big accusation so you should be prepared to back it up with proof.
  16. That it is this government's method of dealing with thorny issues. Starve local authorities of cash, delegate more powers to said local authorities then blame them when nothing is done about thorny issues.
  17. The office in Westminster is up and running, it was finding premises in Sheffield which was proving problematic. As I understand it, premises have been found and they are finalising leasing arrangements.
  18. MPs have to look for properties on the open market just like anyone else. If there are no suitable premises available they do not have the luxury of being able to set one up that is not on public transport routes; hence the delay.
  19. I use Love Clean Streets app to report fly tipping and it usually gets cleared quickly.
  20. Either that or panicking as you scratch at the lid so quiet music is probably the best bet.
  21. Absolutely! Plus, the money he gets goes back in to the economy.
  22. Why, he seems to be managing quite well without a propper (sic) job?
  23. Anyone can see the Open Electoral Register which is why you have the option to opt out when completing your entry.
  24. Not sure why this would affect bus operators' profits given that they are reimbursed for any concessionary journeys made.
