Hello Does anyone commute to Manchester from Sheffield? I'm debating working near Salford Crescent Station and am unsure if rail or road would be the best of a bad bunch? Anyone have any advice?

Would anyone have any interest in a film 'society' (i hate that term) in Penistone? I'm thinking classics of all types with a main focus on Cult, World Cinema and other non-hollywood drivel. In themed 'seasons' - This kind of thing: Edgar Wright-Fest: Scot Pilgrim, Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz, Spaced. Frank Capra: Its a Wonderful Life, Mr Deeds goes to town. John Carpenter: The Thing, They Live, Escape... Studio Ghibli, Kurosawa, Chan-Wook etc... Any feedback would be most welcome!

Hello. Im wondering if anyone can point me in the right direction. I'm looking to learn some basic plumbing, not to become a plumber but to give me a basic understanding. This is for background to support my retraining as a Boiler Service Engineer. I understand I cannot learn the trade, however I am just looking to become informed and have an understanding. I work full time and cannot seem to find any options to fit the bill. All NVQ 2 courses run in the day. Can anyone please offer any advice?

I'm 26 and new to Sheffield and looking to take some walks across the pennines and the like. Can anyone recommend routes or know anyone who would want to team up for a wander?
