  1. Oh I see now Mr bloke. No its nothing to do with that. That was something I was going to do years ago.
  2. Don't know what you mean Mr bloke. They are not doing anyone a favour, as we pay council tax. And part of this tax covers bins. What I am saying is, I have personally seen them put three bags of someone else's rubbish at the side of my wall and split all the bags. And when I phoned to complain about this, was told they don't handle bags, so basically I was lying and it was not there responsibility.
  3. Just had my bin emptied. 15/12/15. So I watched him and he took three other bags that are not even mine from someone else's bin as they had overfilled them and he just threw them at the side of my wall on the pavement. When I went outside he had just dropped them, thus splitting the bags and leaving rubbish all over the path along with milk that had gone all over. Now my argument is, I phoned them and complained about this and wanted them to come and move them, and I was told that bin operatives do not touch bags at all. So I asked them what happens then if there is a bag that has just been placed on the top of a bin. He replied that they will not empty the bin as they don't touch bags. I have personally witnessed them picking bags up and moving them and taking bags out of bins that are to full. And I've just witnessed one of them putting someone else's bags at the side of my property. Sheffield city council is basically calling me a liar, as they don't touch bags. When they clearly do. What I would like from the brilliant people of Sheffield if you can. If your bin has not yet been emptied. Could you please photograph them or video them picking up bags and touching them. And send them to me . Thanks.
  4. ikea is not that far really, straight down motorway. and there are other places to buy flat pack furniture from other than ikea. b and q argos screwfix etc etc
  5. Hi Just wondered if their would be a demand for someone to collect and assemble flat pack furniture for people. any advice greatly appreciated.
  6. hi thanks for all your replies. yes i would need a lot of bags to make any sort of profit, but thats why im asking if people would be interested, the rubbish would not be fly tipped anywhere, all i am doing is asking people if they would be interested, as i am thinking of starting a business, i would be dressed in the proper gear, i would arrive in a fully kitted out sign written tipper van with cages around the flat bed, and i would provide the bags which are also heavy duty not cheap, i would have a waste license which would be valid for three years, and i would be fully insured for public liability ect ect. so guys yes i would need loads of bags to make a profit, but its not just bags i will also remove any other type of rubbish at a slightly extra cost. and it costs £75-£80 to tip at the landfill. whether people think that £1 a bag sounds to cheap to be real, let me worry about that, so would people be interested.
  7. i would have to pay a fee myself at the local tip for dumping the waste.
  8. both licenses, and yes you can take trade/commercial rubbish to local tip, they cant stop you if you have the right license. its £1 per bag for general waste. and slightly more for other heavier waste. do you regularly have extra bags you want to get rid of, if so would you be interested.
  9. i have a waste license. and i would take it to local tip.
  10. hi there everyone, i was just wondering if anyone has trouble getting rid of excess rubbish bags when the binmen have been, ie:- they wont take extra bags or if the bin lid is up they wont take the bin ect, if so would anyone be intrested in paying me a £1 per bag of rubbish for me to take away, and other rubbish also at a extra cost, whether it be garden rubbish, garage rubbish ect, plus i would also provide the bags. does this sound reasonable and would people be interested.
  11. My dad used to live on the wybourne, does anyone remember the chapmans on warris place.
  12. you could have two different types, if they definatetly knew it was the right person, hang them, if they wasnt sure they could put them in prison ect. i mean after all did they get the wrong person to hang in iraq. and i think it would improve things a lot it would make people think twice before committing a crime, because all that happens now when someone cmmits a crime is they get sent to butlins, because that is what it basically is. i mean did they arrest ian huntley for the wrong reasons, no i dont think so, so therefore hang him, we as tax payers are paying for him to stay in jail. other examples fred and rose west, (i know fred did it anyway). myra hindley when she was alive. peter sutcliffe. all these people cannot be helped.
  13. We now have to sing the nursery rhyme Ba Ba Rainbow Sheep. I mean how many rainbow coloured sheep have you seen. We also have call bin bag a refuse sack instead of something else. And we also have to say chalkboard instead of something else. But they havent changed the name of a whiteboard have they or changed the name of a white rubbish bag either. next thing they will do is change the colours on a snooker table.
  14. Very well said. What i want to know is just how on earth are they going to police this. For example You may smoke in your own home. But you cant smoke in your own home if you work from home. How stupid is this. What are they going to do, are they going to put a police officer on every street and road in the uk walking up and down looking in every window on the street 24 hours a day, i dont think so. So that means if i work from home and smoke at home also i will be breaking the law. But who is going to see me doing it. Stupid. :loopy: :loopy: Lets picture the scene. (I wont do this by the way) But just picture it. Im stood at a bus stop for instance smoking, then either a police officer or council officer whoever walk past and says you cant smoke there so can you put it out please, i then say no, he or she then says well i will have to give you a on the spot fine of lets say £50, i then say fair enough but i wont pay it, they then say ok it will have to go to court, i say ok, i go to court and get fined lets say £1000 plus court costs, i then say fair enough im still not paying so what are you going to do now, they say we will send you to prison then, i say ok you can smoke in prison. It kinda defeats the objective dosent it. Besides the prisons are already to full to house illegal smokers. They are having to throw out murderers because they are too full. Can you imagine it, your in prison and a murderer or bank robber says "what you in for then" and you say "smoking a cigarette"...... It seems to me that the government have not got a clue what they are doing. :loopy: :loopy:
