  1. I won tickets, and cant go (didnt realise at the time but Im already booked to attend a wedding!) Was tempted to sell them, but its not as if I have lost money by not going-ok £1.50 but thats my bit for charity! Am giving them to my little bro who really wants to go-would rather not be able to go and hear about the experience-and also be able to sleep at night! hehe!
  2. I won 2 tickets! Unfortunetly I cant go so Im giving them to my little bro-its going to be his birthday and xmas present for the next 10 years! Gutted I cant go though!
  3. I went to the mashouse, before Christmas and really enjoyed it. The food was lovely-cheese mash yum! But book early as it is tiny-"intimate atmosphere!" Staff were friendly and food was served wuite quickly. I did notice as well that items on the menu began to run out throughout the night though
  4. I got a good deal with midland mainline-for couples return its £30 together in april. When I booked them there were no special deals so it pays to have a look around-and try book in groups instead of singles!
  5. Just to slightly change the subject but I dont think police powers will change behaviour like this-you have to educate and prevent this sort of behaviour in indviduals. However, I have no idea how to stop anti-social behaviour!
  6. Ooh there evil those starbucks, I always thought it was quite nice Sheffield (well the city centre) didnt have one. In newcastle theres one on every corner!
  7. I agree about the school hall feeling to it, I dont like the place but I do go to see bands play, dont have much choice to see them live otherwise?! If theres someone you want to see then go!
  8. Isnt it called Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD)? Im sure it affects me in the mornings, because if its all dark and rainy I really dont want to get up for work (more than usual anyway!)
  9. Funny how peoples embarassing moments revolve around girlfriends/boyfriends and people and they fancy? Mine involved being given chili vodka to drink, vomit and eating a birthday cake and advent calender which, wasnt mine ooops. I then spent two days off sixth form due to bruised ribs from vomiting too much (nice) and the shame of my behaviour
  10. Theres one aftesrshave that always makes me go mmmmm whenever I smell it, I have no idea what its called though. Quite glad about that though or I could end up inhaling it because I like the smell so much!
  11. Im glad to know im not the only weirdo hehehe (only joking guys! please dont pm me with abuse!)
  12. kettle chips mmmmmm so greasy you feel the heart attack comming as you eat them yummmmmy
  13. I actually attended one of these GM discussion groups in Sheffield about GM crops (and got a nice payment of £50 too). It was interesting to find at those meetings that in the USA, citizens were not given the discussion and forum to be able to discuss GM crops instead they were introduced into food years ago without people knowing (in the USA they do not have the labelling controls that we have here). By the way my opinion of them was no, in the meetings an opinion I still agree with today. If anyone is really interested in this, I kept the government documents I was given to look at regarding GM crops so if you PM me (and I can find them) they can be yours!
  14. ooh I was hovering around in the background when the press were taking phots of that, I may be famous!
