  1. I've been filling up at Tesco on the Wicker since it opened in 2011, never had any problems at all.
  2. Lloyd Worrall, architectural ironmongers, sell all sorts of stuff like that. They are on that little industrial estate at the side of Attercliffe police station. Fell Road.
  3. If all else fails, Tesco at Chesterfield sell it. I have my groceries delivered from there, and it's on the website, 75p. Try Tesco in the Wicker?
  4. I have a delivery from Tesco every week (it comes from Chesterfield). Just looked on the website and the lemon puff biscuits are available for delivery. I'll check in Spital hill Tesco when I go on Friday x
  5. This thread has made me laugh so much! I'm going to add my two-pennorth! I'm one of those fat ladies who walk about in black leggings - but I don't care cos they are SO comfy! I sit on the wooden benches to rest my arthritic bones and eat..... Fruit! Or have a drink of water. I certainly don't walk about eating cos I have always got my hands full of shopping. I love sausage rolls, pies and crappy food, but don't eat them ...... Because I'm a fat person in leggings! (And trying not to be).
  6. I've had 2 cars from Eric Steads at Ecclesfield. Family business, excellent service! Recommend them to anyone. My First car from them (Hyundai i10) was brand new, as I took part in the scrappage scheme. My second car from them, also a Hyundai i10, was just a few months old when I got it. Both have been brilliant.
  7. Turnips and swedes are available on the TESCO website for delivery, so assume they have them both in stock in the stores.
  8. I can understand why people want to keep the inside of the bin clean, but you can do that by simply wrapping waste up, or even just use a liner. On the odd occasions that it does need a clean, just chuck some hot soapy water in, give it a quick swish with an old mop. As for the outside of the bin - why does it need to be clean? Nobody washes the outside of their brickwork on their house, garden fences, etc? Some people have more money than sense.
  9. Someone told me there are some on Retford road, near the iron bridge at Woodhouse.
  10. I have been buying HECK chicken italia sausages from TESCO. tHey are delicious and low fat too.
  11. The clues in the name "bag for life" the 10p bag-for-life which has been given away last week to every customer in Tesco will be replaced free of charge when it wears out. So, if you haven't already got one, pay 10p for a bag, use it over and over again until it's no good, and exchange it at the store for free. I'm sure other supermarket chains use the same principle. ---------- Post added 06-10-2015 at 20:10 ---------- Better 5p bags. ---------- Post added 06-10-2015 at 20:13 ---------- Better 5p bags.
  12. Tesco have changed the design and quality of the bags - the chargeable ones are much better and stronger than the previous free ones.
