  1. Fusion Youth Theatre presents… A grown up musical about growing up. Okay. You wanna talk about turning 13? It’s a nightmare. I’ve got hair growing in places I didn’t know were places. Plus, my parents are splitting up. I’m becoming a man, but I don’t know what “a man” really means. We’ve all been there. Turning 13 and desperately trying to fit in with what everyone’s expecting you to be. This summer, the senior students of Fusion Youth Theatre make the transition a little easier, bringing new musical 13 to Sheffield’s Library Theatre. Telling the story of Evan Goldman’s life in a small town in Indiana, 13 brings you high school rumours, emotional blackmail and the teenage quest for the tongue. With a score from Tony award winner Jason Robert Brown, 13 will have you laughing, crying and dancing in your seats. Perfect for everyone, 13 is on at the Library Theatre on *Friday 27th and Saturday 28th July at 7.30pm. Tickets are £10.00 and are available on the door or can be reserved on 07702 701453.
  2. Hi Rampent, We're holding an audition with a number of our students on that day. It'll be primarily drama based so we don't need dance floors, just a safe, clean (and warm!) space that's easily accessible.
  3. Hi speenie, thanks for your suggestion, but I've got a feeling they'll probably have classes on weekday evenings. That's the issue we've got with our regular space (which we usually hire on a Sunday) - they hold their own classes during the week. But thank you very much for your suggestion - I have just dropped them an email just in case - fingers crossed!!
  4. Hi, I'm looking for a rehearsal room for an audition for a number of young people (10 - 13 years old) on the evening of March 5th. The room wouldn't be needed for anymore than 1 1/2 hours. A city centre locations, if possible would be preferred. Has anyone got any suggestions? Thanks, Heidi
  5. Paul Hendy was the Writer and Producer and Director this year I think!
  6. MISCHIEVOUS fairies, confused lovers and ass’s ears come together this summer in the latest musical creation from Fusion Youth Theatre. A Midsummer Night’s Dream, the much-loved Shakespeare classic, has been given an indie-urban makeover by the innovative Performing Arts company, with music from the Ting Tings, Adele and Regina Spektor. ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream – the Musical’ can be seen at the Library Theatre on July 26 and 27. Tickets cost £10 and can be ordered by emailing Sheffield@fusionyouththeatre.com, online at fusionyouththeatre.com or http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=249486218411895 or by telephoning 0114 2500071. 7. Hi, We're a small youth theatre that are looking for a hair stylist for a photo shoot tomorrow (Sunday). You would be needed between 12 and 2 / 2.30pm to create some hairstyles for a few of our young students for a photoshoot for our upcoming production. If you have a CRB check that would be ideal, but not essential as there will always be another member of the team in the room. Please get in touch asap on 07595 380284. Thanks, Heidi
  8. Hello, It's great that you've got a website, but you need to work on your online presence. Get as many links to your site as possible; make it easier to buy online; social media is a must nowadays - talk to people on twitter. Have you got analytics set up on your site? You should definately set it up so that you can monitor what people are looking at - that way you can work on conversions / phase out the less popular items or make them more appealing. I think you could work on a more definate brand as well - I get the vintage interiors, but what's your usp? Are these pieces authentically restored / contemporary restorations / restored to a fantastic standard / quirky - make it obvious. And better categorisation / menus on the site would be really helpful - that way people can select exactly what they want to look for. Just a few ideas - but I love the site generally and really love the products - paricularly the big furniture!!

  14. Sorry to say theatretrain no longer runs in Sheffield. We here at Fusion have just finished our first show and it was fantastic - an original musical titled 'London Road'. The students all had an amazing time. We're off for the summer now, but will be back next term with an even more action packed curriculum and show! If you can't wait that long look out for us in the Meadowhall Talent Academy where we're running loads of free workshops!!
