I am a council tennant, it dosent say anything about paying, but they want me to ring them to arrange an appointment. I think I shall call in the local housing office and find out about it.

More or less saying it's for health and safety reasons, they are writing on behalf of SCC. as if we don't have it done it could mean delays if we ever need repairs, as they would then have to do the survey before any repairs could be undertaken. Also says the survey would take approx 1 hour to do. I havent heard of anyone else getting a letter.

Anyone else had a letter about an Asbestos survey by Euro Environmental. This is through Sheffield city council. I am in the S5 area and am asking this as we had one where they took samples when our house was modernised in 2006. just find it strange.

When I saw this thread, I had to go down and see my cousin Ygor who is the chief stone fettler at Wardsend, and he told me there are no tombs as such for anyone or anything to make a dwelling. He said it could be the Firebeast from next door at the ski village,as he has become somewhat of a pest since he moved in. hope this is of help.

Really if you want it done properly,then you need to get someone who is experienced in this,you could spend a pretty penny and have weeds coming through etc.get some quotes.

Called in the new shop on Leppings lane today, bit let down that they didnt have the part I needed for my Hybris. but very helpful guy let me try the different flavours in shop. worth a call in folks....
