  1. It's open now, and theyhave the massice sale thing on again. I got a suit jacket, matching skirt and matching trousers for £20 the lot! Bargain!! Rammed with people though so go during the day ifpossible and avoid weekends!!
  2. George also have a very wedding dress type party/prom dress in their G21 hot fashion collection here for only £20! http://www.george.com/womens/g21_april/1/ I dunno what dress size you are but they have it in 8-18 but I find their sizes come up large. Good luck
  3. try http://www.tvtome.com/DesperateHousewives/guide.html - they have a detailed blow by blow guide to each episode!! E4 is a week before channel 4, so the one where Gabriella visits Carlos in Prison is to be shown on Channel 4 this week and was shown on E4 last nigth and last wednesday. Hope that helps!!
  4. Yeah, she does seem to look younger than when she was Lois Lane which tends to be the case with all *celebs* these days! She's just kinda skinny and looks knackered all the time!
  5. Yeah, what was with that tacky blue floaty babydoll thing when she looked to have a nice set of undies on underneath!! She's too skinny and always looks tired to me!
  6. hehe I wans't even a glint in my parent's eyes in the '70s! In fact they didn't meet til 1979!! Lol.
  7. Euw gross!! We ate at Ponderosa a couple of times and didn't see anything like that but I guess you jkust have to be careful!! From what I remember it was cheap with good service and nice food, but this is going back 6 years!
  8. Yeah I think you should be fine doing that - there's tons of "Quality Inns" and "comfort Inn" hotels - maybe just print off a few motel contacts before you leave from the internet with possibilities? Good luck!
  9. I used to live in Hillsborough and often at about 12:30am after all the pub trouble had been dealt with they would come down the road with torches and look at all the windscreens for tax discs not being displayed/out of date etc. Now they probably don't need to because of the automated system I gues which must free up a bit of time. I don't know why so many people think the police are useless - they provide an essential service and their high visibility can only be a good thing.
  10. I find them ok to drive in but I haven't got a cheap scabby pair like those seen on the manor This was my original point - I don't want to look like a skanky cow from up there, but they really are comfy so I'm not gonna let narrow minded people who think they are chavvy put em down! Ok it's down to personal taste but they really are comfy. the whole trademarking the UGG boot thing is silly - they see it as a generic term in Australia but some big fat cats from the USA came along and nabbed it. Hence why so called "genuine" Uggs will set you back £150, when in actual fact you can get a nice pair of real sheepskin ones (that are good in hot and cold) for less than £80 in some places. On a similar theme then, what does everyone think to the cowboy obsession??! The amount of Sienna Miller wannabies around is hysterical. (If you dunno who she is, it's Jude Law's gf/fiancee now and she's a"boho" or basically a trendy hippy). She wears denim skirts, baggy floaty hippy tops with ugg or cowboy boots and massive brown belts with dodgy gold and rhinestone detailing on them - and her "look" has been adopted by tons of girls hoping to look like her - but we can't all be bvlonde, a slim size 8 and stunning!!
  11. Here here! Too right, I never see much evidence of the same problems when out in bars in cities abroad - almost makes you ashamed to be British the amount we value our weekend "culture" of getting pi***d, eating a kebab and then throwing it up in a doorway so the shopkeeper is greeted with it the next day - not nice!
  12. It's late and I need sleep I will carry on wearing them as they are really comfy, but at the same time I don't want to look really sad. Seeing as they've been around for ages now, are they set to stay or do you think they will be going soon??
  13. Yeah I think it's "preventative policing" or something. The police presence just stops people brawling in the street and stuff perhaps - or that's what it's meant to stop!
  14. Ok ok I get the point! But they really are comfy, although having said that whilst I don't aim to look "trendy", I don't want to look like I'm so five months ago!
  15. Sorry, more photos are here: http://www.australian-uggs.com/
