I'm moving to stannington end of july and need to get broadband installed! Been told lots of conflicting things about what is available and what speeds I can expect to acheive - all bad news so far. But confused, because I gather that the fibre optic network has reached stannington. I've been told by a BT engineer that BT own the hub and will have exclusive provision from it, but any research I have done points to digital region being responsible for it. They list 4 ISPs supplying the service that I've never heard of! Does anyone out there in Stannington know anything about all this get high speed broadband and who do you recommend to get it through?!

Exactly what the title says......I'm currently being screwed over by PC world, useless bunch of crap customer service sheisters. Gonna get my machine back from them and do what I should've done in the first place - take it to a nice friendly local place. Anyone recommend somewhere that will repair a packard bell laptop backlight speedily and for not too much money? Cheers

at some point you've gotta take responsibility for your own health (and smell ) - its really not that hard to stop - and I say this as an ex-smoker who did initally find it hard to stop and now believes smokers DO stink! You just have to want to do it, accept that its the best thing you can do for your health and your pocket and then just do it! Don't believe the hype that its really hard.

Have any pregnant ladies out there got a yoga class in the S8 area they can recommend? been told I can't go to mine any more as too strenuous! BUT I really don't want to just lie around relaxing and drinking tea as only 8weeks(!) so want one that you do actually still do some exercise in......

not sure on good electricians, but just a tip on who NOT to employ - RGS builders. They also claim to be electricians, but what they really are are dirty, thieving, tax-dodging scammers who will take your money and never come back.

All I can say is DON'T USE RGS builders to do the job! - they will start the job, take your money, f*** up your house and then never come back!

Oh my God - can they really just close down? I'm going to report RGS builders today anyway, though clearly they have other things to worry about!

I'm afraid I only have one you should NEVER EVER use as well - RGS builders - Roy and Andy Goodison. They will take your money, never finish the job and never answer any form of communication - speaking from personal painful experience.

DO NOT EVER use a company called RGS builders - the company name is bound to change though, so look out for Andy and Roy Goodison - they are major con-artists who have been bankrupt many time and will rip you off. I speak from personal experience.
