Most people I know say they will continue using the new market. The sales people are offered cheap fares to be there at first for a while and then it will get expensive. Lets wait and see. The new building does look cool.

Does the council have a clear opinion of their own other than the landlord certificates. They must have a clear observation of the garbage and a proper program to address it. I must say that in UK when something goes wrong somewhere, the lazy solution is often to demand everybody to get involved and licensed instead of focusing on the actual problem itself and acknowledge they have to do the dirty work themselves. I am not a lawyer but would suggest 1. No more than 6 people in a 3 bedroom house, visitors go to hotel. 2. Any form of littering £50 fine per offence. 3. All foreign cars need UK MOT if used here for more than 3 months. 4. Noise and other excessive disturbances to neighbours need either voluntarily be reduced or else the source of the problem may be removed permanently. 5. Mandatory classes and adjustment to British culture if they wish free health and social care.

Every little helps. The eggs are better, bigger and cheaper at aldi.

Students are paying double now to get through uni. NHS is finding loads of forced savings and people pay for doctors letter. (etc.) Bedroom tax. Less money to councils, parking cost increases. Sale of post office. Poor treatment of pensioners to reduce their financial pressures. If they have their own money the change of survival doubles.

There have been proper ticket inspections on first buses this week. With the intentions to look for people sneaking through without valid ticked on busy places.

I am not joking. That "eastern eye restaurant" chicken and chips does the exact opposite as my prescription medication does. No other food has ever done that to me before. Page hall has become so disgusting my girlfriend refuses to drive by/through it and now drives 15 minute diversions if it happens to be in the travel route.

8 Years ago on busy days after a busy day work I ate that chicken and chips on page hall. Everytime without one single exception I had epileptic seizures until I stopped eating that crap.

When I used to eat that chicken and and chips I would get an epileptic seizure with 100% certainty. It must be full of crap. To eat or shop in that area is suicidal. That bit about feeling welcome is very right, it has turned from so so into a no go area.

There is a big difference. The slovaks use a lot of alcohol and behave like animals. The south asians have never done what the slovaks are doing now.

I see more antisocial dangerous drivers than cyclist. I cannot drive or cycle and am certain drivers are worse.

Mac beth is right here. I merely ment to say that if the foreigners not yet know what is the right way to dispose of garbage, it is not wise to tell them to not leave it on the street. Park/forest is next.

It is right near page hall. The foreigners have been told to not leave their crap outside on the sidewalk and have been instructed there are other ways in UK we deal with that. They see a forest rich area nearby and take it there instead. Problem solved

The community that has immigrated here is actually not welcome in the countries they live in. This unique race does not have its own country and lives spread over a few where it is not appreciated. In Amsterdam this summer the police got 6 experienced Romanian police officers to come there because 90% of sneaky pickpockets in Amsterdam where from Romanian. Even their kids do it at young age.

Thanks, good idea. Calling a place good or bad is cutting it into half, two pieces, and choose only one half. Together they are complete, Sheffield is perfect, just like all other places.

Mikebatty, If you need to solve a problem about feeling sad because people deserve better and more. Your sadness is your own choice, all you need to do is forget Sheffield and leave it the way it is. You left 40 years ago and are still worried and concerned what people deserve and how it is all connected little villages etc. etc. So much time is wasted thinking about unimportant matters that could have been spend having a good time in your countryside while you keep thinking and thinking about Sheffield. So what if Sheffield is good or bad? Fine either way. Problem solved Keeping abreast, blaming people, fighting hard for the corner, taking places for the damnable odds. I think you are feeling very sad and the reason you are feeling this way has nothing to do with Sheffield but more with intense personal emotions you are experiencing. By the looks and sound of it you are very upset.

Most Sheffield buses come in 15 minutes or sooner. If you have a time schedule call a taxi. When you smile at the driver and ignore all surliness and take 5 minutes to show your disability pass they become very friendly and next time they have the ticket ready for you before you get on. If it smells then next time don't sit on the toilet When people talk around I hear their talking louder than my headphones. If they had more buses with a bar or pub inside more people might use them.

Mikebatty, may I ask what needs to be solved? Aren't things fine moving their own way naturally in this moment. Why do you think it is really that bad? I think it is great how Sheffield is the way it does now, why is it bad?

Having slow traffic gives you more time to sit relax and do nothing while waiting. People should be happy, rushing only makes you tired.

Competition, fighting over what place is better. Struggling to be recognised and acknowledged. Sheffielders are very worried and concerned about their image when people mention there are other places in the world that are not called Sheffield.

The whole universe is unique. Sheffield is a lovely tiny little place in that universe.

Could be a simple maintenance job to fix it. What is the fault code?
