If parking is too cheap there is not enough space. When it is too expensive many people will avoid it. Arresting people throwing litter on road and fining them would be a more respectful way of making money than squeezing profits out of drivers.

Sorry you can't but my information is from the inside and I was not being silly this time. I started a link with the intention to discuss all the different stories that look north mentions about Sheffield. But it has been merged with this topic. Just go and see, they have to make an effort now and grab anything that is there to make sure Sheffield is mentioned. The parking tower, the council money shortages, the traffic, etc etc, anything so Sheffield is mentioned and the complaints that look north is ignoring Sheffield are sorted.

Lately Look North has been talking about Sheffield a lot more than it used to. The management of Look North has been told to stop ignoring Sheffield and cover it more and frequently in the program. Because they received complaints Sheffield was not enough covered in the news. Tonight they had a right joke and fooled sheffielders by telling them it is the slowest in the country. Come on, do we really believe that?

Ah money. One moment you get some another time you lose it and then it comes back again. What would we do without it.

People have complained that look north does not talk about Sheffield enough. Now look north has to find stories and talk about Sheffield. They talk more about Sheffield than they mention Leeds now. What they talk about does not matter.

Are the problems really that bad? Sometimes a few noisy people or someone starting to argue a bit with the driver about the price but not that often. Only ones did I see something that bad that I started filming it but I don't call that one time in many years a big problem. Noisy kids with their phone are just childish, they don't do it all the time. Where are those problem places? A little bit here or there is not really something to worry about.

Sheffield bus drivers have too many jobs all at same time. They drive the bus, sell and inspect tickets, they look after the bus and passengers. It is silly to expect them to be an active officer as well, that would stress them out. Let other passengers do that job or call the police. I am not a busdriver but it is not difficult to see Sheffield citizens expect way too much from their drivers. Give them a break, they work very hard and the reason they are so slow is because their employers ask them to do everything.

Exactly, until you just voluntary stop believing in false promises and phony excuses. Life is beautiful, when you become a free independent individual free from lying politics and religions.

90% of people working in democracy are not aware they are slaves and are labouring while given false promises they are doing something good or beneficial for society. Their hard work is given minimum wage while the selfish greedy rich get richer. Few people know capitalism real selfish meaning. Most people are fooled with false promises and excuses it is for their own benefit while they waste their lives thinking they are doing something good while working for the minimum.

Using your phone to access bus arrival data and programming your usual stops on the phone for later use before going to get a bus is very useful. Like resident says, as long as the bus GPS is working and processed, most of them do.

Are the police actually really making changes now down there?

It takes around 4 years for a western EU person to get used to social differences of US or CAN when moving there. The gap between gyp roma and UK is larger than UK/US.

Lets not get too much off topic but few people will go for the psychological pleasure of making someone else wait. Most people are more grown up and caring and will prefer to gain happiness out of helping people. I know bus drivers looking grumpy taking 10 minutes inspecting my pass when the scanner does not work. And I know drivers smiling friendly, pressing the button to override the scanner quickly. If I display any need for speed or desire to rush the grumpy driver will relax and gain pleasure out of making me and everybody else wait while he takes as long as he wants to inspect a pass nice and slow. He is enjoying watching me getting upset while he is making me wait. Most people are more developed, helpful and understanding, few will decide to drive away while you run to the bus. I have seen few drivers smile or laugh while driving by while you just ran to the stop. Learn some basic psychology, it applies to everybody and is very diverse. Nobody is the same, all bus drivers react different.

Many people will gain a sense of psychological pleasure when feeling they have the power to make decisions that can make someone else disappointed. A little insight in the basic psychology of how certain things can give some people a sense of satisfaction or dissatisfaction is all that is needed.
