I'm wanting honest advice on this area please. Might be moving into the area, I think it looks a nice estate, everyone seems to have bought their ex council houses, gardens nice and it doesn't look the typical housing estate to me but my friend said it's rough and a lot of burglaries in the area so this has put a dampber on it for me now. My mum lives at hollinsend and she said it seems ok on there and not to worry. I Went and had a drive round on Monday night and it seemed quiet no youths hanging round the shops that I could see.... Can anyone let me know what their experiences of basegreen are ? I'd really appreciate it as I can't find much on the Internet about it which unlike other sheffield housing estates can only mean its actually a nice place to live? Thanks

I have found the mystery lady which took a while but has put my mind at rest. I can finally confirm that Charlie is buried in her garden... Thank you to everyone who replied to my post and offered support to me over these last few days My Charlie was a very popular and gorgeous cat, everyone I have spoken to in the area knew him as did a few of you on here... RIP Charlie Choo xx

Charlie was allowed out at night when the traffic was not as busy, obviously this made no difference in the end. I just couldnt keep him in , he loved been out in the gardens and chilling on the yard. I need to know if he as been buried and where so I can rest...he was an adorable little cat.

Right all this sounds a bit dodgy to me....DOES ANYONE KNOW WHAT HAPPENED TO MY CAT ???? I have been told a lady on Wood Road saw this happened and was given her address , went round and no one of that name lives there or knows what happened to my cat Birth Peace - I have spoken to you and you said you did not see my cat that night All I want to know is was he taken away after he was hit or was he buried?? I have the right to know what has happened to my cat and some of these messages are confusing me

thank you all for your replies, i think it is aparent that my Charlie wont be coming home now...but please can the lady who found him get in touch just so i can confirm it was definatley my beautiful boy

My 1 year old maine coone is missing again,this time he has been gone a whole week, Holme lane area of Hillsborough He is ginger and white (very big boy with bushy tail & amber coloured eyes that match his coat) wearing a red velvet collar with diamante crowns on it. He is very very friendly and may have made himself at at home in someone elses house! I am starting to really worry about him especially now it is getting colder. He has not been away from home for this long before (3 days last time) If any one may have seen him around malin Bridge, Taplin road or holme lane area please let me know We miss him:sad:

went past cash converters in Hillsborough yesterday and they have a pair of original black GHD's in window for 59.99

The car is sorted now..nothing at all was stolen out of the car and my cd player was in there,cd's tax disc etc It was obvious they had tried to just steal the spoiler of my car for their own car! Cheeky *****! Everyone around Holme Lane, Taplin, Ball Road, Malin Bridge etc keep your eyes peeled for any incidents in the future in the area, it has been getting worse around here in the last year, I have had one car stolen and 2 attempted break in's in the last 12 months and now this...I am getting a security camera put up now at the weekend and if i see anyone dodgy hanging around I WILL report it to the police even if it turns out to be innocent.. BRING BACK NEIGHBOURHOOD WATCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Jade was a young girl who loved her children very much , she made a lot of money from her illness to make sure her children would never have to worry about money for a very long long time!! There is absolutley nothing wrong with that...she was a very open and honest person and yes there are a million other people dying of cancer but a lot of them are not in the public eye so they are forgotton about,,,,hopefully if anything comes out of this it will be that the age that a woman can have a cervical smear is lowered. She certainly never was racist...her father was mixed race!!! She said some thing that got blown totally out of proportion and something which she deeply regretted....how many people can honestly say they have never made a flippent comment about something when they have been angry....?? Everyone of us has opened our mouths at some point and then wished we hadnt.. I was always a big fan of Jade, her life was very traumatic but she was very brave in her darkest hour and fought for the most important things in her life..her sons Im sure her boys will be very proud of her.....RIP Jade x

Just been to the Baytree (London Road) Thought we would take mum for a nice Mothers day lunch, first time and last time. Starters missing one of the main ingrediant..ordered the egg mayo with smoked salmon and prawns..NO SALMON Main- Roast Beef dinner...yorkshire pudding as hard as a rock and very burnt..asked for another one and the other they brought out was just as bad!Potatoes burnt and meat fatty Complained and was advised that our bill would be ammended to reflect the fact we couldnt eat it... Desert not bad but cant go wrong with protiteroles and choc sauce and ice cream Staff very rude and were obviously upset that we had complained ...stood staring at us and whispering Noticed that everyone else who ate while we did were given a little bag of sugered almonds with the bill..we didnt get one though!?!? Set meal £17 each...they knocked £16 off...still came to £65 with drinks (3 adults and 2 children) Very poor service and food..would NOT recommend eating there !!!! Been to better pubs for dinner and at that price wish we had...
