  1. This vile woman was in the Greystones tonight, came out of the back with her husband. Can't believe she had the cheek to show her face. Twenty years ago, I'd have probably 'bought' her a drink!
  2. Blew my head off when I tried it once.
  3. You can only see six power stations now, since High Marnham (the southernmost one) was demolished a couple of weeks ago. Soon there'll only be five when the finish demolishing Thorpe Marsh - two of the six towers have gone this year already.
  4. I can hear this indoors at Crosspool. Every time I nearly have a personal moment.
  5. Not if the room contains some posters from SF, in which case I'd walk straight back out.
  6. No, I don't want to know about it. I've not come in the thread to read about someone getting intoxicated.
  7. If that isn't infringing public order, then the law really needs to be changed. It's disgusting that they are currently allowed to get away with it.
  8. I could here this in Crosspool at 6am. I opened the window and it seemed to be coming from miles away, but in bed I kept hearing low pitched thudding of loud music. Must have been pretty damn loud if it was at Woodburn. This is happened several times on a Sunday morning in the last couple of months now. Why are hell are these tossers repeatedly allowed to hold an event that makes noise across an entire city.
  9. Ok, well it's not quite been every week, but if I did, that is your opinion anyway.
  10. And if I bought from there every week would I still be sad?
  11. Why, because I happen to enjoy a treat once a week?
  12. Erm yes I do, that is a bit insulting really.
  13. I agree. I've ordered a takeaway from there every week for the past 6 years. I've enjoyed every single one and never been ill. I agree the restaurant has seen better days, but anyone who says the food is crap has obviously not been for ages.
  14. And also on the same day, an article with 2 or 3 sentences that tells you nowt about the headline story Also impressed by the "breaking news" of the fatal accident at Chapeltown Station: "It emerged today", erm no it emerged on Friday, when it actually happened. This newspaper is such a joke now, I wouldn't even use it to wipe my backside with.
  15. I accept he wasn't English....but that is complete and utter rubbish.
  16. You can see 7. Ferrybrige, Eggborough, Drax, Thorpe Marsh (looking north) and the ones in Nottinghamshire (looking east) are Cottam, West Burton and High Marnham. And I have definitely seen Lincoln Cathedral from Derwent Edge.
  17. I notice the cross of St Patrick is flying today instead of the Union flag. The cross of St Andrew's was flown in November. Has the council always done this for countries that Sheffield is not part of? Does anyone know if they flew the dragon on St David's day, I really hope not.
  18. Nope, this is Sheffield, not Aberystwyth. Can you imagine Aberystwyth being bothered on 23 April?
  19. My blood is boiling with anger at this. Cannot believe how he's been treat.
