Hello. I would like some advice on whether Eckington (S21) is a popular area to rent out to families. I have a 3 bed house that will be vacant in the next few months.

Hi, I would like people's opinions on whether it would be better to invest in a flat/apartment or a house. My budget is £125000 and would like to put this money into investing in property so any ideas would be greatly appreciated! After buying the property I would live in it for a year and then rent it out, so i'm looking for long term investment.

I reckon in the future there wont be enough affordable houses (say between 100k - 125k) for first time buyers and in the end they won't have any choice but to buy a flat. And as the generations grow up they will be accustomed to living in flats (like in Hong Kong) and it will be second nature to them. So I predict in the future people wont be that bothered about buying houses. That's my opinion.

I'm a first time buyer and I've been putting offers in left right and centre but cannot secure anything because of these bidding wars! There's also the problem of 'best and final offers'. Why is it so hard to just buy a decent house nowadays and is anyone in the same shoes as me. Was it like this 5 years ago!?

Yes that is exactly where I mean, on Myrtle Road! I drove past it and because i'm house hunting I was thinking of looking into buying one. Depending on price. Isnt Abourthorn a bad area. That's probably why they are advertising it as 'Heeley'.

Hi Does anyone know what the 'Archer Court' development is? I just drove pass a yellow sign today that read 'Archer Court', just off the Abbeydale area in S8. I cant seem to find anything on the internet. I am looking to buy a new build if anyone knows of any around the S8 area. Thanks (*_*)!

I am a first time buyer wanting to move out of my parents house. I have viewed the showhomes in the new Parklands developments in the Manor and I am debating on whether I should buy one. I am looking for advice and opinions from local people who live in the area and also people who have bought the new apartments around there and also from potential buyers like me. I would be living on my own. Please help as The Manor is a very controversial topic.

Lib1 Have you moved in the Manor Parklands apartments now? How is it going? I am thinking of whether to buy one of the 2 bed townhouses in the Parklands developments. Saw the showhouses today and they look quite nice. Any opinions on the Parklands developments will be greatly appreciated. Thanks
