  1. I saw one on Gumtree - it was really cute - a brown one it was. It looked like it was being kept indoors in a dog crate. They wanted £575 o.n.o - it was 9 week old and apparently an unwanted christmas present!!!!!:loopy: Like someone has already said - I also wonder how long it will be before a Micro pig rescue has to be set up .

  7. saw something strange last night while having a cig during england game. stood on my back doorstep and saw what i thought was a firework go up into the sky. it was orange and just caried on going up so then thought it may be a distress flare but it just went up and up and up. it arked over from nether edge area above me at greystones and just kept going until it had vanished. it was very fast and silent. when it first set off it was very bright and rather big. it got smaller and smaller as it went. all in less than a min?

i saw one last night (saturday) it were very bright and fast and it wasnt a chinese lantern, it were about 1130pm at aston

  8. think if it were there kids that had a disabilitie then it would be different, having one arm does,nt stop someone from working on tv, welldone tothem

    Hiya

Ive just come across this, and is it me or are we not surprised that kids have such one dimentional views when they get wrapped up in cotton wool by there parents

    Heres the link: http://uk.news.yahoo.com/5/20090223/tuk-one-armed-cbeebies-host-scaring-chil-45dbed5.html

    And a quick paragraph

"parents on online forums have claimed she 'frightens' their children.

Poster Barry wrote: "Is it just me, or does anyone else think the new woman presenter on Cbeebies (Cerrie Burnell) may scare the kids because of her disability?

"I didn't want to let my children watch the filler bits on the bedtime hour last night because I know it would have played on my eldest daughter's mind and possibly caused sleep problems... and yes, this is a serious post."

    Pure Madness

  9. To be fair, if you decided to drive a car with no documentation available to prove you were insured, what did you expect them to do? My dad runs a cab firm and he's had so many cars written off by uninsured scum we've lost count. I'd far rather any potentially uninsured care was off the road than he lost another source of income. And it should really be common sense not to drive a vehicle you can't prove you're insured on.

what i load of rubbish how many drivers do you know that carry documents about with them becuase they can get stolen by the scum and used as identity theft

    get real!!!!!!!!!!!

i agree fully with the police, but the go on about all the powers they have to inpound cars but they dont have the powers to check that the innocent drivers like me that has a clean licence and has so for the 13 years that i have been driving , i have never been pulled!!

  10. In actual fact you are legally obliged to produce your driving licence, MOT certificate and insurance certificate immediately at the roadside, and failure to do so is an offence.

As a courtesy the police can issue "producers" that give you seven days to present your documents at a police station of your choice, but this has diminished with the use of ANPR and driver/insurance databases.

If it looks dodgy they can take your car until you provide the proof of insurance.

i got pulled on saturday becuase they said that i had no insurance but i have, he were going to inpound my car becuase he couldnt check with my insurance on a sat, so who would have to pay to get it out then when i have done the right thing by insuring the car its not my fault the police dont have the powers to call the insurance company on a sat!

  11. For two Fridays on the trot now, I've been woken up in the early hours by some inconsiderate "people" who are either having a party, or have come back home (or to their friend's home) and carried on drinking. No music, just shouting and screaming. With the weather being as warm as it has been, it's been too warm to close the window.

This Friday just gone (1st Aug), I was woken up at 4am by these people screaming and shouting at each other, I couldn't see them, but could hear them clearly enough. Then about 6.45am they started wandering up and down the street outside my house shouting and swearing at each other. One of the girls only looked young (18ish), and had a small keg of Heineken and kept putting it on the bollard and drinking from it and inviting her mates to drink from it. There was a big group of them, probably 5-8 people, mix of guys and girls. Two blokes kept running past the house, one had a bottle of vodka that was almost empty, and the other had either vodka or Archers. One of the vodka bottles was smashed (just behind my car) at about 7.15am. One of the girls shouted at one point "I AM A PUSSY - I HAVE PUSSY" - Lovely. Just what we all wanted to know.

Now, if this happens again this Friday, if I phoned the police would they turn up? I can't work out which house they're from, I presume it's one down the street opposite me as they seem to walk up and down from there. Do I need to inform the council as it's Anti-Social behaviour - but it's private housing so can they do anything?

In this day & age I don't feel safe opening my window and telling them to blummin' shut up!!! If it continues I just don't know what to do. I have to go into work on Saturdays so I don't want to be kept awake half the night, I can't catch up on my sleep! I've no problem with people getting out of a taxi, falling over, laughing as they fall over as long as they go into their houses and keep the noise down. I wouldn't even mind a party as long as it's a one off and they tell us in advance. This is two weeks on the trot now, and how many more weeks is it going to go on for?

If it does, who can I complain to? Can I complain as I can't give an address? I can say to the police "if you come now you'll be able to hear them and find them" - but would they?

For anyone wondering, it's on Norfolk Park, in one of the new built areas. Anyone else heard it?

Hi im sure if you called the police they would come out

    good luck
