I was Gemini in the early 80's. lived in Kiveton they was another girl in worksop with the same handle but we never clashed, as she was on in the day and me at night and really out of distance to each other. I used to talk to all the truckers passing through Woodall. I used to be on it all night so would have spoken to most of them as they passed through just a few names that come to mind - Banjo Echo - trucker Rollercoaster - trucker Geordie boy - trucker huggie bear - trucker dynamite squadron -trucker battery charger - bought a cb off him Duracell-Dinnington - my friend duckpond - Kiveton midge bite - Kiveton (duck ponds wife) yorkie girl orchid lady donkey man will add to list anymore when I remember them (getting old now brain cells are not what they used to be -

Garden birds. dissappearing!
beemerchez replied to pitsmoorboy's topic in Sheffield News & Discussions
I have noticed too, and mentioned it to my neighbour, I have those hanging feeders up with fatballs/peanuts in them for the small birds, up until mid september I used to get dozens on them even fighting to get onto the hanging feeder all day and into late evening, for the passed couple of weeks, Nothing, they seemed to have disapered just the odd sparrow now, and about 4 starlings who seem to be always hanging round here. -

hi all you gardener I am not really a gardener so could you advise please can you tell me when is the best time to do a big cut back ready for winter I do have some plants that are already dying and on there way out some are still ok (snap dragons,a couple of roses, some grassy looking plants with orange flowers, lavender, pansies < these are not too clever) o/h is going to do a big clear out in the borders this weekend get rid of all the dead wood, weeds, but we don't want to cut plants down too early so they die off and wont come back next year. so is they a right time to cut back ready for winter? thank you sorry forgot to add I have some busy lizzies in a big planter these are doing really well at the moment and all in flower do these come back?
