  1. The only stuff I can think of buying is Equilage but it's quite expensive. My horse LOVES it though. Whereabouts are you stabled? Maybe you could try calling the farms local to your yard to ask if they sell small bale haylage
  2. Thankyou so much for your replies The pony has now found somewhere to call home. Thanks puddinburner for painting my Princess Can't wait to see it xxx
  3. Hi all, Posting this on behalf of a friend. Basically he has a section A colt and he needs to find somewhere that would be able to offer grass livery ASAP. I know that this is a tricky one as most places won't allow colts. I've tried all the people I know with livery yards and all of my friends but I have drawn a blank. This is quite an urgent request
  4. Unfortunately the mare won't be a freebie. I'd have jumped at the chance to have her myself but I have 2 horses already one of which has major issues bless her I'll be quite sad to see her go but there's not a lot I can do about it
  5. Well I've tried talking my mate out of rehoming but she's adamant that the horse has to go. I personally would have kept her because she's such a fabulous horse!!! Here's hoping she get's a good home.
  6. Does anyone on here photograph horses? I'd love a professional pic done of my horse and possibly a few ridden pics. Is there anyone who would like to tackle the project?? Paid of course!! xxxx She's VERY photogenic LOL although I bet you guys could do much better xxxxx
  7. Hi all, Someone I know bought a horse 6 weeks ago. She's solid in traffic and for the farrier etc. She's brilliant to pull up in canter and is a generally fantastic horse. The problem is that although she's dead easy to catch she will plant her feet and not move forward unless coaxed and she's been diagnosed with mild COPD. Personally I don't see it as a major problem. What do you guys think? I see a SAFE horse as a bonus. Answers on a postcard please xxx
  8. Hi all, I was just wondering if anyone knows where I can hire a decent 4x4 from in Sheffield/Rotherham as cheaply as possible to tow my horsebox to a show on Sunday??? It would have a decent kerbweight as my trailer is quite heavy and the vehicle would be pulling a 16.2 thoroughbred and a 15.2 warmblood horse PLEASE HELP
  9. I'm coming round to throw some freezing cold water over you tomorrow. If you're in an outfit to go and meet someone I won't give a toss!!! See ya later.
  10. I've been waiting for it to thunder and tip it down all night just in case I have to drag the horses in but nothing has happened so I think it'd gonna be ok!!! I'm in Rotherham and there are no signs as yet
  11. Well I, for one, would have been incredibly upset by being drenched by a group of louts whilst minding my own business!!!! Some of the people on this forum, like johnbradley, would not find it funny if were to happen to them!!!
  12. I carry a multitool with a knife on it when I'm out on my horse. It could come in handy for all kinds of problem I may encounter. I don't see it as carrying a weapon though.

  25. Hi all, I'm planning on taking my 16hh TB to Tickhill Charity Show on the 20th July I've been quoted £60.00 to take my mare from Treeton and then bring her back once her classes are over. Does anyone know of anything slightly cheaper? I don't mind if you stay with us or just drop off and pick up. My girl is very good at a showground and I don't think I'd have to keep her tied to a trailer inbetween classes. Thanks in advance xx
