the drum still spins and i've had the cover to the pump open and a bra wire dropped out, cleaned it out and it still wont drain so i'm thinking the pump has died, can you tell me who mended yours ? and will he mend mine for me ? as i have 4 kids and much washing !

I asked the council why the district heating had gone up from £15 to £21.50 and i was told that it was because the price of gas had gone up , and that if the price of gas fell then so would the cost of our district heating. [ yes Albert that is what we are paying, although i would like to disconnect from the district heating system and put in a gas boiler, because £20.50 every week winter and summer is a bit steep, I wonder if anyone has disconnected from the system and if so how much did the council charge, i understand it is something in the region of £800?

when we failed to get speed bumps the reason we were given was because of the fire engines. but i cant see why we couldn't have a speed camera? I saw so many crashed, up turned cars very close to my home it was crazy that we couldn't get anything done

Southey Green Road has been a problem for many years, i lived on it until 1987 and this problem of proper crossing points was an issue back then, yes we did have lovely Josie back then, but to say that there have not been enough deaths is crazy, I moved my family off that road because of the danger, the final straw for me was the very sad death of Anab Jama R.I.P. the road is too fast we always felt there should be speed bumps or a GATSO camera, we were in the Star paper with a group of neighbours trying to get them but we never got anywhere, sad to see 10 years on the problem remains.

tescos will take forever and ever and ever.... to get back to you, if you haven't heard back in 2 weeks ring them up, my daughter was told there is a massive recruitment drive and there were 1000 people to get back to , there was one woman who was ringing all of them back and she was off sick......... so in short if you dont hear, it does not mean that you haven't got the job, just that they haven't got time to get round to everyone!!!

my daughter went on one for the dot com picker job and i dropped her off and yes it would be wise to be very smartly dressed it will probably be a group interview, so be ready to pipe up as quickly as you can with your answers and be team motivated, hope this helps ! and good luck .

my ex husband lives on lowedges and he has had several nails in his tyres over the last 12 months, the last involves a six inch nail which caused the tyre to shred off the wheel rim at high speed and could have killed him! i wish people would realise that thes acts of mindless vandalism to peoples cars can cause deaths, and for goodness sake get a life !

i had night storage heaters for a while and they were cheep, which surprised me as i was really afraid they would be expensive, the only thing wrong with it is that they store up the heat, then let it out and by tea time it's all run cold and you sit with a quilt over the sofa freezing to death, i would hate to have them again you cant beat gas central heating , you really cant ! you will be on economy seven meter, but the day time rate is dearer so you have to be nocterail to benefit, i'd give it a wide birth, unless you really love the place and can afford to replace the system

i had to move 2 of my children from Newfield, because they were both threatened with violence by fellow students, i moved them to Abbeydale Grange, and they had a wonderful last few years at school, both left with good grades and are now in college, i think there was such a mix of different kids there that my 2 who were Goths at at the time didn't stand out in a crowd, they made some great friends and got over the depression they had felt whike the bullying was going on, i did wonder about educating them myself, but it is expensive and i felt that they should mix with other people,
