To be honest lots of things can cause BSOD other than the gfx card it could also be a sign of bad memory there are programs out in web land to test this but im no expert on it. Program is called memtest can be googled as said i aint an expert on it but it does diagnostics on the memory and gives a readout but the readout is what i cant help with as i dont know what it means, also try reseating the memory in the pc and blowing the dust off it as overtime the contacts get grimmy and can cause problems also hope that helps you.

i appologies for my comments then djelibeybi i want aware of your situation with your mobility, but yes never the less i do agree with you on the state of the lowedges bus service at one time we had 3 service's running along the main streach of lowedges rd heading out to chesterfield rd end (42, 53 and 94) now we are down to the 53. and yet the 53 has the highest fares i just dont understand why these other services that we once had left the estate, i would have thought that the 42, 94 would have had a higher income with there cheaper fares at least to the city centre.

Stagecoach do run on the main road above lowedges though its the 25 service not to mention the end of lowedges road you get the option of some chesterfield buses heading into sheffield. but yes i would also personally like to see a new stagecoach service on lowedges to compete with the dreaded 53 service (first).

Thing is at the end of the day, no matter what people say or do ive heard most of em, oh im gonna buy a bike oh im gonna catch stagecoach etc etc simple fact is that if your in a rush to get somewhere your gonna catch the first conveinent mode of transport weather that be First or Stagecoach so the way i see it is First will always get there profits they might take a knock but still they will get profit from this alone Even i have said that i will use Stagecoach as my preffered mode of transport but this just isnt practical considering the above paragraph, if im in a rush somewhere most often than not i still find myself on a First bus as it stops closer to my house.

yup heard this a few weeks ago, dont know how acurate the info i got was but as i heard it day savers increase from 3.50 to 4.00 weekly bus pass 15.00 to 20.00 as i said dont know how acurate this is and i may be way off the mark but nothing would suprise me with first just gets to me how first get away with it when even if stagecoach put theres up after im betting they still will be cheaper to travel by not to mention cleaner buses and friendlier drivers

just having my refurbishments done also, kitchen and bathroom so far so good with the alterations but when anything goes wrong kier and connought are just like fighting kids in a playground, current problem, we have a small trikle of water coming from where i believe to be the bathroom toilet which is coming into our kitchen just above the electricity breaker box ive rung for emergency repairs and all they have said is that they will not touch the leak as connaught put the toilet basin in and so on and so forth, so as far as kier are bothered about whilst work is being done by a chosen contractor ya house could burn down and they wouldnt be bothered really is quite pathetic

yes looking forward to the release but my alt of which i thought would be able to get to to 60 seems to be ever increasingly slipping away on the moonglade server at least as getting partys now for a lvl 39 which my alt is seems to be getting very hard

id probably say its not worth the driver getting injured if he/she interviened in an incident when after all if damage to vehicle is covered by insurance or in cases where a passenger is being threatened then the obvious would be to raidio for police to come and assist, btw im not a driver just trying to state from my view the most sensable approach to such a incident

well as far as i see this is not my problem as i have said above yes no doubt i will end up paying for there mistake but if by any chance i can reduce this bill further i will because this is just plain pathetic on there behalf

Hi all i wonder if anybody can help me on a letter a received from them this morning, about 3 weeks ago we had our british gas elictricity meter updated to the new key fob type one and was informed that because they had forgoten to check there records the old meter was not charging us at the correct rate of use so they have kindly sent us a bill for £170 i am unemployed and at this time of year seems to be yet another strain with christmas approaching, so is there anything i can do seems to me that this is not my problem, fact they forgot to check there records. i have tried to ring them up this morning saturday of which they supposed to be open from 9.30 to 12.30 at 11.50 am and to be greeted with a message saying they were closed and to ring back between monday to friday this alone seems to show a level of incompentency so if anyone knows where i stand on this matter please give me some advise Thx

as far as i am aware ebuyer moved form sheffiled some months ago, but not to say that i had problems with them cos i have but all in all i have had my deliverys sometimes a day late but lets face it could you get better value from independent stores or pre - made computers / components for a cheaper price ive certainly yet to find a independent store that can match there prices

Very much agree, I used to work for the charity's (or so called charity) in sheffield at handsworth and yes oxfam deffinatly need naming and shaming tbh it is also correct that the company executives run about in top of the range cars (company cars) they are over priced and yes i would like to see writen evidence of where that money goes what the generous public donate to them it obviously dosent seem to go to deserving places hence the company cars

I doubt first's management arent the least bothered because they have the majority of trade here anyways as i said Stagecoach do a sterling job cheaper bus fares, cleaner buses and friendlier drivers all for a pay packet less than firsts drivers but the unfortunate thing about it is that stagecoach dont have enough routes to compete at there level, heres one that hopes that changes soon

Well it amazes me how the bus drivers of first still have jobs in sheffield when there are other companies such as stagecoach formally Yorkshire terrier that run buses for a lower wage and still manage to do a much better job of time keeping , well i recall sheffield council saying something about doing something about first should this all happen again with strikes and bus fares increasing, i hope the time is now so that we can have a proper bus service in sheffield rarther than this pathetic sham first call public transport, then maybe the boot will be on the other foot

no not a complaint but just fact it must cost stagecoach more in money to fuel tho's buses up each day than they can possably make in a days service you really only need to stand where these buses stop to see that they are carting fresh air about all day

Like has been said on the travelsy forum this is really a bad move for terrior/stagecoach to have done, its a failing service and they are now obviously running it at a loss dont get me wrong i am all for stagecoach tbh because of first's attempts at strikes in the past and i would love to see stagecoach run more services in sheffield, i know some people may say a bus drivers life is hell but when your the customer trying to get anywhere during Firsts strike periods it aint easy

Depends what the game is that your playing also, you say you have 512mb of ram, in most cases you should be ok but there are a few exemptions to this, some games need alone 512mb of ram to run problem free but you have also to take into consideration that windows alone uses 256mb of ram which leaves you with 256mb out of a 512mb stick and if the game you are playing requires 512mb then i would sudgest buying either a minimum of 256mb or the full hog 512mb stick hope that helps

Chances are that if the machine was bought from Pc world it's 95% probably a Packard Bell and if my memory serves me right thos machines do not have any fans appart from the cpu fan i highly doubt that its a fan issue anyways as if there were a wire obstructing the fan itself then the thermal cut off would indead close the computer down ie it would turn it self off to prevent any damage to the cpu. Do you have any idea as to what make of Hard drive it is in the computer ? if it is a packad bell most likely to be either maxtor or western digital which both are very noisey hard drives with very little you can do to actually make it less noisey other then buying padding from say maplins but at a risk of higher computer temperatures Hope that helps

Yes deffinatly, would like to see them compete more around the lowedges area as we up here seem to keep getting the bad end of the stick we just have 2 services 53, 76 which dependent on which side of you live on and then you look at Jordanthorpe /Batemoor with more buses running through there then you can shake a stick at if i had the chance i would use stagecoach on a more regular basis First prices are now verging on the ridiculous despite the fact that many people say we still have low fares compared to other citys bring back the good old service 94 Lowedges to Firth Park used to be operated by Sheffield Omnibus, im sure stagecoach could make this a profitable route as it would use 1 of the many main gateways into the city centre

I had a pre interview the other day and i believe that the A1 Shuttle (Operated by First) either passes by costco or will stop near by when the development is finished, i dont know the amount of truth behind this as it is just word of mouth but i would have thought travelline will have a better idea. I kind of think Makro and the Parkway Markets are possably old enough and wise enough to get along with costco when they open there doors, i think it will be a healthy competision although Makro and the Markets may take a little dent in there financial situation, but i surly doubt that this will cause any business to go under. its kind of like having a netto and a tesco on the same street in my view both shops are relativly cheap but get along quite well with each other, an example 1 Product Tin of Baked Beans 2 brand lines Tesco Value range and nettos own some people will either buy tesco's cos they think its better than nettos and vise versa. in other word people will try other brands but if in the case of not liking them will go back to the original and you will always get this kind of situation where Makro will have its own followers and costco will have its own followers.
