SF was really the first forum I ever joined and became addicted to. I found it when browsing for information about Sheffield as I had recently moved into the area. I remember spending hours upon hours on here! I still pop back every now and again, not alot has changed and I still recognise a few of the old faces or should I say usernames/avatars! Lol. Now I frequent three other forums. Tenerife Forum as I moved to the island so it's a great resource for me, Netmums which is full of great info and other mums to chat to, Moneysavingexpert as it's great for financial advice and bargains!!! I also go on Hotukdeals alot as well but I'm not really sure if you can call it a forum or not? I've joined quite a few forums over the years since finding SF but I don't tend to stick around unless they draw me in and then that's it, I'm addicted!

Where in Tenerife did you see that graffiti? I've never seen it?

The right mix for me but to be honest I don't like the look of a big diamond on my fingers as I have small hands so I prefer it to look delicate and dainty

I agree with the hand and foot cast, they grow up so quickly that it's hard to remember just how small they were!

Tenerife is still hot right up until the end of October! Then it only cools down slightly in the evenings through November

I can't decide which website I like more. I think they both have different qualities about them that make them great sites. If they combined the two, it would be awesome!

Shefflady is right, it was the hottest day in years and a few elderly people actually died. The heat was just unbearable! It looks like it's going to be an extremely hot summer again this year as it's hardly rained so far. This time last year and in Jan/Feb time we had on and off showers regularly but so far this year it's been pleasant and dry. It's only April and already it's heating up! Roll on summer! Woohoo!

For a lads weekend away in the sunshine, I would suggest Tenerife or one of the other Canary Islands (eg. Gran Canaria, Lanzarote etc.)

We've just had a big storm so the island has cooled down a bit now. It's averaging 16C at night and 21C during the day. This winter has been the warmest in years on Tenerife apparently

Tenerife has been really warm this winter (warmest it's been in years). Don't know about the other places mentioned though as I've never been but I'd love to go to Cancun in Mexico

Over here in Tenerife people walk around half naked all the time so I've gotten used to it now. Most girls walk around in bikini's and yes, even thong bikini's whilst do their weekly shopping at the local supermarket. It's quite funny to see sometimes when the men wander in with just speedos and flip flops on

I've heard of threading but I didn't know it existed until I saw it in a magazine a few months ago. Is it any more or less painful than plucking or waxing your eyebrows?
