Who's at fault here in this car crash
paulhodgkins replied to *_ash_*'s topic in Sheffield News & Discussions
Black car. If a driver reads the road correctly, how can they be at fault? Read the road markings before entering the roundabout, this is a no-brainer. Just the same at Park Square. If you read the road markings and signage before entering the roundabout, you'll be in the correct lane to exit. -
Dronfield Bypass - roadworks
paulhodgkins replied to tzijlstra's topic in Sheffield News & Discussions
Yes. To and from Sheepbridge Ind Est on a regular basis. And if we're feeling petty, why not call the bypass by its correct name, Unstone-Dronfield Bypass? ---------- Post added 15-01-2017 at 21:17 ---------- Perhaps they can't move on, It'll cost them valuable time..... -

'Smart' M1 (J34 'ish') 'almost' up and running..
paulhodgkins replied to PeteMorris's topic in Sheffield News & Discussions
It's ok upgrading to "Smart Motorways" but we need to upgrade to "Smart Motorists" too. Too many times, have I seen driver's move to lane 2 with nothing in lane 1, causing other motorist to either slow down, or undertake. -
Upgrade to pro. There's site that have the pro-licence key

Decriminalisation the way forward?
paulhodgkins replied to chem1st's topic in Sheffield News & Discussions
Rightly, or wrongly, alcohol and smoking addictions are each a drain on the NHS, but the Government rakes in a fortune in tax from booze and fags. The Government will NEVER legalise drug use, because they'll be have to tax it , therefore looking like they endorse drug use. -
Sheffield Snow Megathread 2012

Whats that got to do with having fun with your family and friends? Last December, as soon as I got home from work, the first thing I did was join my daughters in the garden for a snowball fight! -

Strange, is that. I got mine, and a wristband, from the poppy stall at the bottom of the escalator, in Asda. -
What is Sheffield's WORST area?
paulhodgkins replied to t020's topic in Sheffield News & Discussions
So, the basis of your opinion is driving through an area? I drove through Parson Cross the other day, and not once did I feel my life was in any danger. I also drove through Manor, and Pitsmoor on my way home, and made it back safely. Mind you, I once drove through Totley and nearly got killed by a car pulling out in front of me. Yeah, Totley, thats it, thats my vote...... *tongue placed firmly in cheek* The poll's a joke, based on peoples opinions, and not based on fact.
