the area on her back is somtimes enflamed, hence the steroids, the vet checked for flea dust and mites, ok tho, aint flead her 4 a while

hi we have a 4 year old westie (pippa) we bought her about 2 yrs ago, she has been fully spayed, because of an infection, (before we got her.) she is still very nervouse even now, but she,s started loosing her hair on her back near to the tail and on her side. the vets given her steroids . and her groomer says she only has a single coat, not a double one.................help

hi plain talker i agree with trekker , its definetly in my opinion skye edge ave, looking at the building at the bottom right its the old playground shed and little office at the side where mr ryan used to keep his tools and stuff , the layout of the avenue is altered with the way the photo has been zoomed, making things appear closer, the landscape in the background is again in my opinion the old quarry hills, still there now, also i can remember the fence they put up to keep folk out, didn,t work. if you look closely you can see the jennels that went down to the back prefabs..................................ron

yes certainly do remember him, he used to coach boxing, until one of the trainees dropped him. and the medicine ball he used to swing around full of bricks.....ah those were the days

i did my training at orgreave colliery 1964/5 also at treeton ex-army camp,and went to the then dinnington tech school, i didn,t work down the pit but worked in the wood yard and propshop.........

there used to be a tunnel on a lane from the quarry on sky edge down to the old bit of manor oaks rd, in the late 50s/ 60s and some sort of building at the top, eventually used by scrap men, i used to climb up the tunnel face as a kid, do you remember it and can you throw any light on it? thanks:help:

me too i lived in a prefab on skyedge ave , i remember holding the ladder whilst my dad tried to nail the roof down, you could actually see the roof lift from inside.........................ron
