  1. Ashton Alarms were good when they installed ours earlier in the year.
  2. You can also do courses online. See here: http://www.learndirect.com/languages/welsh
  3. I thought it was meant to be more 'East Coast' USA/Canadian style food than 'jewish deli' specifically? I haven't tried it yet but know a few people who have enjoyed it. I'm planning on giving it a go at lunchtime next week sometime.
  4. I took care of the ISO 9001 accreditation for my company and we worked with BSI. They have been good with us over the last few years since accreditation. We have a single auditor who was with us from the early days of Stage 1 approval, through Stage 2 and check ups every 6 months since then. It has been very useful to have that level of consistency. http://www.bsigroup.com/en-GB/
  5. My suggestion for this would be that it would be great to have a drive through coffee place. They are all over the USA, Canada and Australia. They tend to be located next to main roads and occupy just a small hut in the corner of an existing car park or a simple retail unit. Simply pull up in your car and get a decent filter coffee, latte, capuccino and off you go. No need to get out of your car. Perfect for on the way to work or the way home, lunchtimes, weekends. I never quite understand why they aren't around in the UK.
  6. Take a look at the iphone 5s which has TouchID. http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5883
  7. Just wanted to say a big thank you to Antony Hall (call 07772 279961 or PM user antonyhall25) for the full re-plastering work he has just done on our downstairs bathroom. There were lots of tricky edges and awkward corners to take care of and he has done a great job. Decent price, no hassle and no mess. He is a friendly chap and worth remembering if you need any plastering work doing.
  8. Seconded. This junction is made very difficult by inconsiderate drivers heading away from the city centre on Abbeydale Rd not stopping when the lights turn red. If lucky perhaps 2 right turners can get through the junction at a time.
  9. We are going to be fitting some oak worktops to our new kitchen. It'll need someone to shape (sink recess, rounded 30cm radius corners and rounded rolled edges) and fit the worktops. If anyone has any recommendations of competent tradespeople who could do the job then please let us know. Thanks!
  10. The Genting Club sent me an email this morning saying that they were doing a party for this and had a selection of package.
  11. sheffbag - thanks for your input. They don't charge you to use other people but I think they have a rule that whatever gear an external DJ brings along needs to be checked before being approved for use. I seem to recall that they make a small charge to check this. Ringwood would be able to confirm if this is still the case or not. We were a bit nervous about choosing a DJ for the wedding and did look at a few others but thought we'd minimise the risk and stick with the guy who did weddings there most weekends, had decent equipment and a proven track record with the hotel and wedding crowds. We were very happy with everything.
  12. We got married at Ringwood Hall last summer and used their resident DJ from Tropicana (aka John Smith Discos). He was excellent, did exactly as we asked him to do (timings, sound levels, etc), had decent equipment, used our playlist and was generally great. I'd really recommend using him over anybody else. I think he is fractionally more expenseive than external DJs but I think you need to pay a charge to use a different DJ, but it is still well worth using the usual guy.

  14. That's it! That's the name of the people we used. I couldn't remember it. They are on ebay and they have a website too. They were great.
