I think your totally right for wearing heavier gloves...I spar in 14/16oz but i fight at 64kg ...I think its also helps with speed by having heavier gloves during sparring....And if you don't want to give people brain problems when they are older...wear 14oz +

I hear everybody saying that he did'nt fight back soo the ref was righ to stop it....does anybody remember a certain fight between Mohammad Ali and george Foreman .......or even calzaghe's fight against lacy?........why dint both of them get stopped by ref???! .. ...and did Ali not come back several rounds later and knock foreman out?? not saying manfredo could but at least give the kid a chance...

Actually on paper it was a good fight...Manfredo beat Pemberton who was 19-0 before he lost to him..Manfredo also beat a guy Calzaghe was meant to fight next .......Also Manfredo was never hurt at all ,,, ,,sometimes fighters take a bit of time to warm up....HE WAS DUCKING AND WEAVING WHEN IT GOT STOPPED FOR GODNESS SAKE!!! it was after all only the third round out of 12! ...

I think a bit of nerves are gr8 when fighting...I know it deffers sharpens me up. But I think best thing to do if ya really bad is to stand in your corner before the fight and listen to ya breathing with reallly long slow breaths...should help with slowing things down...or a good scream and shout with a slap in the face always helps

I think the fight might go the the distance ..Manfredo has nothing to lose and has beaten 2 very good oppenents in the last to fights...SO don't be surprised at a close fight or even an upset. Khan will destroy hisguy. Love calzaghe but im a fan of manfredo too cus i watched the contender religously. Hope it goes all the way
