  2. can any one advise me what to do there is this ginger tom that keeps comming in our house eating all my cats food and spraying its nasty to my cat and she wont come in sits on the wall waiting for me to get home before she will go back in the house, ive put up with this for a while now and this morning i heard a loud bang ive gone down stairs to find that cat climbling back out the window and it had knocked 2 plates of the side and they smashed, to top it off it turns around and stares at me as if to say hahahaha. my cat has been spayed and is tiny compared to this ginger monster. please dont say shut the window coz this is the in and out for my cat he is really taking the biscuit now literally. this cat has no collar on and the neighbours dont know whos it is also it is nasty to other cats its corners them hissing and spitting any advice will be great
  3. thanks for your comments about regency think we will be going ahead now soon to be home owners yippee i only asked about regency so can we stick to that if it bothers people that much open your own thread dont comment on mine thats not what i was asking, we not planning on moving any time soon so our house wouldnt of been vacant anyway and the house market is too expensive to buy thats why we are doing it through council, you cant sell for a min of 5 yrs with out paying your discount back anyway and it has to be offered back to the council first if they dont take thats not my problem (not that we plan on moving) thanks

  5. heard this song and cant remember who sang it the words i can remember are LOVE ME LOVE ME SAY THAT YOU LOVE ME NEED ME NEED ME SAY THAT YOU NEED ME DOES ANY ONE KNOW ITS DOING MY HEAD IN TA
  6. in the RTB terms they have to offer it back to the council first surely if u desparatly need housing take what u are offered, u will only strip what ever house they offer u anyway and do it to ur taste, dirt can be cleaned, gardens cut, walls changed ask about decoration grant, most properties will be due refub anyway and there is always option to appeal , re- register or like what has previously been said exchange, we had one offer due to priority, we had no choice we needed a home and took it, still doing it up now nearly 2 yrs on, and i think if u dont ur housing needs arent really that great. sorry to sound harsh i can sympathise but when u have been in this situation u take what ur offered, u cant be choosy when it comes to council properties. we looked at it as we went to the council for help and thats what they gave us otherwise we would be living in cardboard boxes, now is that really anyway to bring up children- if u want to be choosey about properties then council housing may not be the right move -buy or rent privatley no council area is brilliant there are always bad and good parts its what you make it.
  7. i think as long as the hedge is tidy what does it matter how high it is?, council inparticular are very picky on this subject and as mentions previously there is no law, they either need to bring one in or stop wasting time on petty hedge disputes and deal with the real problems on estates problem nowadays people dont talk they hide behind i.e councils why cant they just knock on the door and come to some sort of mutual agreement, then there wouldnt be any of this. rant over
