I regularly go for a bite to eat on London Road with friends, there is a great choice of foods from all over the world and the BYO places offer great value for money when you can take a few beers or a bottle of wine for £5 rather than paying restaurant prices for drinks. I've been to a fair few places but I'm sure there will be a few hidden gems that I am yet to discover, so my question is, which do you think is the best BYO restaurant on or around London Road?

Hi all, I found a small wallet on Cemetery road in Sharrow about 30 minutes ago, belonging to a David Dempsey. It contains an Oyster card, a South Yorkshire travel card, a senior rail card and some train tickets. Does anyone know a David Dempsey? Hi all, I have noticed during the lovely weather we have had recently that damp patches are appearing at the bottom of my chimney breast. They come and go in direct relation to the heavy rain, so I can only assume that water is coming down the chimney. It does not look like it has a cowl fitted, so I am looking for someone who can fit a cowl, and also fit a small vent in the chimney breast (in the recess where the fire used to be). Can anyone recommend a trades person who could undertake this work? Thanks, Dan

Hi all, I have recently noticed a damp patch on my dining room wall which is directly below the upstairs bathroom. I originally thought it was coming from the shower, so resealed it but the problems remains. The size of the wet patch directly relates to bathroom usage, and my suspicion now is that it is coming from the plumbing on the toilet Does anyone know a good bathroom fitter/plumber that would be able to investigate this and complete remedial works? The room is fully tiled, so they will need to get behind/remove tiles to locate the leak. Any ideas/contacts would be much appreciated!

I have some patches of damp in my house and cannot work out where they are coming from. They are on the ground floor, but there is no obvious leak that is causing them. Can anyone recommend a damp proofing company who could give me a quote for investigation/remedial works? Thanks.

I have some weathered bricks on the front and back of my house which need repairing. The outside of the house also requires painting so I am looking for a tradesperson who could preferably do both jobs in one go. Does anyone know any recommended companies who could do this work?
