Any programs to sort out blurred pictures
JohnGraham replied to jellybaba's topic in Computer & Tech Chat
depends how blurred, if it was out of focus when you took it and the whole picture is blurred, theres little chance you can fix it enough to look like a normal photo -
A mate of mines family won this price from GMTV a few years ago £10 grand! I was well jealous. Just normal working family so its not fixed, just low probability.

Firefox crashing everytime I come off the internet
JohnGraham replied to Mrs Hyde's topic in Computer & Tech Chat
does it all the time for me too, its a bug in the program - i tried re installing and it didnt help :S -
mine was working last night but hasnt all day today. Only difference to my laptop is it auto downloaded 9 updates for vista last night - not sure if that has anything to do with the MSN problems though as it seems quite a few people cant log in. Again, strangely I can log in to msn via online equivilent eBuddy, and that works fine ... :s

Removing pictures from social network sites
JohnGraham replied to Ouija's topic in Computer & Tech Chat
just your and their friends i think -
if you have an 02 contract you can call a special numbre (202 i think) and can buy referb phones for cheap, last i heard the n95 8gb was only £99 and a load of other top end ones were being sold for around £69. Read about it on hot uk deals during the week - might be worth giving them a call seeing what they have in stock

To be honest id rather not name and shame any website as thats definatly not a professional thing to do. Im sure you have seen some very poor websites that belong to a respectable company or brand that could desperatly do with a revamp if just to make them look more attractive and iron out typos
-
I find this arguement a joke, im a recent graduate - up until a few months ago you could have classed me as a "student" web designer, if people didnt let me make their sites when I was a student I would have no examples to show when Im now looking for a job. It is crazily important to have worked with real world clients, so made up projects dont really help at all. I see many "professional" sites that are piles of crap even in comparison to some of my and my coursemates early web work... If someones skilled theyre skilled regardless of if their a student or professional - you need to be the first to be the latter

Can anyone recomend a laptop under 400 pound???
JohnGraham replied to rodge's topic in Computer & Tech Chat
go dell, have a look around for the best deal though, theres often a fair few on hotukdeals as well as http://www.dmxdimension.com -
dell outlet would be the cheapest place, its where dell sell returns/cancelled orders etc and they all come with the same standard warrenty as you would get from the dell website,so might be worth checking out...worth bearing in mind the laptops you see on there they literally only have 1 of so for the best deals you have to get in there fast

Where to get a decent custom built PC?
JohnGraham replied to amyjhill's topic in Computer & Tech Chat
buy all the parts you want online then just take it into a computer shop and pay £30 for them to build it for you
